I guess they most they've done is give villains a Crobat and expecting people to pog at their character development despite never showing any of it to the player. But honestly actually exploring that relationship requires the pokemon to be characters, they have done this with the noble pokemon in PLA but it's still not a lot as they mostly just function like the box legendaries who're just plot devices and don't have any character as individuals.

Ah, yes. The dude who got rightfully mad that his sister lies to him for no reason after finding out he was right about everything and she was real mean for seemingly years, an issue that could have been solved by the grandparents in five seconds.

The issue honestly is the player couldn’t sude with him we had to go along with the girl that was clearly wrong.

Of course he’s going to be a bit pissed off when the only thing he likes in the world sides with lying arseholes.

Are they even proper Pokemon? They were only made to fill in the spaces of Gen 2 games that had placeholder Pokemon so that we wouldn't have another MissingNo situation, not like they did anything with them lore wise and in battle they're fucking useless.

Even if he isn’t and we are all wrong, and we could be, Fans have been saying that about Cyrus for years. No one really gives a crap. Anyone that does is probably just mad that he is a way cooler autist than they are.

If anything I bet that is what a lot of this is. The devs playing into the theories for shits and giggles assuming none of it would see the light of day

Issue is the fact that Hidden Power did nothing when it clearly should have done something different based on the letter. And considering you find Smeargle nearby, they were obvious willing to get nutty with move pools.

As someone who tried making it work for years, I can confirm that this is probably the shittiest Gen 2 Pokemon and one of the worst Pokemon overall. It does nothing in competitive and it does nothing even in the story mode. Wasted concept, should have made it a bug/fighting and amped it's physical attack so at the very least it would have a niche.

Spaceworld design was more bland, but it's stats made more sense. It was a normal ladybug instead of the 4 armed atrocity we see in the final game, it was clearly meant to be a shitmon with an early access to Swift and high Special Defense. Not the most useful niche but at least it exists.

Honestly that is may take away with these leaks, GF clearly has interesting ideas but never enough time to cook or stuff stopping them from cooking.

I go back to Ash leaving when thinking about this because it is recent ‘people ask why worry about replacing him’ people forgot that Fans were really not sure about how to take Horizons.

The audiance makes GF very hesistant to do things they clearly want to st least try.

And it’s obvious whenever they do try fans always initialy respond with ‘don’t want new thing’

Unown would have been great if they didn't have that same species clause in effect for all official battles (i.e. local/online pvp)

At least then you could pull some troll shit like have an entire team of unowns that have different hidden power types while spelling out a 6 letter word like "NIGGER"

Granbull kicks ass, altho he was reduced to a power creeped shitmon until fairies came around. I really tried to make him work, but he's too slow and too weak to be of any serious use outside the story mode.

I love it's shiny, but yes it's extremely shitty too. At least Ariados can do Sticky Web shenanigans but not much else.
