It is real. It is a concept art that was in one of the layers in the image editor, to probably make the sprite and simplify it.

Speaking of autism, holy fuck the shit that was written for gen 4 is the craziest thing. Masuda must have been dreaming of writing an epic story about dead gods with the deepest lore for years...and then absolutely none of this gets used, even in the Arceus game.
Speaking of which, that absolutely did not come out of nowhere, it's already being speculated that most of the content from that game is just recycled from Masuda's rantings that are present in this leak. That's not even getting into the player profiles or anything like that, Pokemon is a franchise that throws away or hides 98% of the lore written for it for absolutely no reason.

Darkstalkers came out in 1994, predating even the first Pokemon games, and this would hardly be the first time Gamefreak paid a homage(or ripped off) to something.
Give it a few weeks, once people dig into everything we have on offer, we will know what's fake and what isn't. The fucked up ultra edgy concept art is real, so you never know.
I'm hoping for PBR Platinum patch more than anything aside from the general beta stuff, I know I'm not the only one since there are currently people digging thru over 200GB of content right now for it.

Hmmm... I thought Latios and Latias were inspired by the spaceships from the Darius arcade game, and I really hope we get some info regard them that either confirms/deny it, also I wanna ask, did you got by any chance lwaks related to pokemon cards?
Somethung I always wanted to see was an high quality version of the artwork used for the game exclusive cards in the 2nd, japanese only tcg game for the gbc.
Dark gengar, Dark marowak, Dark clefable, Dark Ninetales and Dark starmie for instance.
The first tcg game has had a mockup of its game excludive cards revealed in the pokemon card encyclopedia, but the same treatment wasn't done for the sequel, whuch also didn't used stock Ken Sugimori's drawing, leaving multiple portrait, if they ever existed outside the game, as nothing but lost media.

You must remember that gen 3 had a problem with the screens without backlight, so many of these beta images could be changed to be better viewed on GBA screen.

We know GBA can produce graphics better than we got on GBA pokemon games.
Even hacks manage to do a better job

Anyways, the leaks are starting to dry up. There is hundreds of GBs left to leak and everybody needs to both process and datamine what we already have. It will take weeks before we even have stock of what we just uncovered, and that's if no further leaks(like the ones for XY) will drop.

I got some lore autism posts to splice into one image and then I will probably head to bed. Hopefully this continues tomorrow.

Also it looks like there are even some sugimori art from betas from their pokedex function, but they are in low res, maybe there are higher resolution in the leaks. Or maybe people will just ai resize it or trace over it

Octane? That seems to be an unreleased/name-changed pokemon. Does anybody know what that looks like? Because if Octane is the beta name for Octillery, then that would be a really weird choice to for a human/pokemon relationship.

The original design for Dawn was supposed to wear pants. People speculated over the years that this was a form of censorship, but apparently it was decided that Dawn needed more legs.

There is a ton of anime related leaks right now, including behind the scenes stuff, reference material for every Pokemon and character, even a confirmation of a Netflix life action series already in the works

It's likely a reference to the ancient tentacle hentai, Japanese have been gooning it to octopuses for hundreds of years now. This isn't even the craziest part of the leaks and this even somewhat made it into the final game("Pokemon and people marrying and living together" part anyways).
