If I had the source, I might be able to fix this (including the colourwashing this time), but I feel that I am going to need WAY bigger assembly skills here.

Until then, hopefully my de-woked mod would hold you ntil I go back to my SV demake. We all have to wait around a month before the new Pokémon drop at least.

I recently played Supergold97, which is basically a look into what a completed version of that leaked Spaceworld beta would look like. It's a neat Pokemon 1.5 reimagining of Johto, but you also get to visit Kanto, Hoenn and Sinnoh as well. There is plenty of new Pokemon(all based off the ones from the leaked beta), a new elemental chart(again, matching the one from the leaked beta), reimagined existing Pokemon and characters and overall it feels a lot like a finished product that would come out around that time instead of a fan project. I would definitely check it out if you're a fan of Gen 2 titles in the slightest.

Speaking of de-woked Black and White 3, I dunno if you mentioned this but if the main protagonist is BROWN does that also go for the character's mother? If so, this would be the first game where the absence of your father makes sense.

I actually thought of that, myself, since the mother is Caucasian.
In the original woke version, since the player's mother was a lesbian, I concluded tha the player is adopted, though IVF would be possible.
That makes a bit of a problem in the de-woked version where she i straight.
I say tha the player character is adopted in the de-woke version too, though I might just say tha the African father is working long hours overseas, though I am not so sure that something that worked in Mother 2 would apply here. Nothing is conclusive yet.

Unironically I think half of Gamefreak's writing the last decade has been a cry for help. The revamp of the sunken ship in ORAS. Larry. Punished Kieran in the next DLC being described by the chinese leaker guy as "the king of" some chinese concept that's the equivalent of karoshi. These people need a vacation
 
Re Space World Leak: I'll always be aggravated the electric tiger line got cut not once but twice, and that it was meant to be a three-stage line before being inexplicably cut to two stages in GS beta. I actually like Litten's line a ton including Incineroar, a fire tiger starter is fantastic and I never had spergouts over Incineroar itself like others did - but I started Pokemon Red with Charizard and an electric tiger line would complement it very nicely, as well as having that full-fledged Gen 1 and 2 charm.

Speaking of betas, a lot of Gen 4 beta versions of mons feel they could fit in with Gens 1-3 really nicely too. I wonder, was Gen 5 the true beginning of the modern design philosophy? Gens 1-4 feel like a natural unit, especially if you include all the cut and/or beta designs. Was there a big team or management turnover shift around Gens 4-5?

If anyone wants to dig through /vp/ archives, I remember someone making a patch that makes all the NPCs white.

I kinda doubt that there will be a whole battle facility tacked on too. It's not the same when you can use items and overlevel and I assume have some sort of switch mode? I honestly don't even know how switch mode works if you're fighting a double battle. Can you get a free double switch in without wasting a turn every time one of your opponents faints?

No idea why new versions are so hard to find, but I found a patch that was made for 2.5.8. The latest version of the hack is 2.5.9, so it may or may not still work.

I also found one for 2.5.6, so I’ll attach that too.

I’d attach the roms directly, but I don’t want to burden Null with “hosting illegal content”. Or maybe he doesn’t give a shit for rom hacks, I don’t know.

I attached builds of my demake and the de-woked versions of Black and White 3 without getting in trouble.
Just pu them in zip files, since the forums only permits attachments of a small number o file formats, and you would be fine.
