It has been fun seeing how the Pokemon Community has evolved along with the constant criticism and "below ideal" games they have received. Most of them are like "yeah the bugs are ridiculous and should be fixed" and it is not causing major drama, not even the review scores. On the other hand, if you dare mention GOWR treats its players like retards you get a lot of soyny fags screaming at you.

Just kinda talking random here, isn't it weird that any time a new Pokémon game comes out, all the commentary channels have to claim it's "The worst game launch of the year" and other dumb shit, like Pyrocycnical and Muthar? Almost like they're just milking shit for ad revenue. Yes pokemon shills are annoying, but it feels the other sides is just as loud and obnoxious where if you say you enjoyed the game they'll point to some random youtuber's video or "muh metacritic score" (really? Using metacritic to judge a game's quality?). Maybe that's just me, Just play the game and make your own opinion, for me, it's decent, my favorite pokemon game Since BW2.

Pretty much, they noticed it generated clicks like 2 Gens ago and now they just default to it every November when ads are starting to pay more. It's pretty gay overall but on the positive side, the community has learned to not give a shit and not start drama.

Just in November alone this year I think the beta of Darktide had a much rougher launch than the new pokemon games, but that's just me.

It's just that youtubers want that easy "W" to show that their platform is better than the rest. Remember the golden youtube rule of people like Reviewtech, Nintendo/company I don't like always bad, But when my side/platform fucks up just as hard, cover it up and pretend it never happened. I didn't like Sword and Shield but I rather play that game than ever touch Temtem, and I'll take that to my grave.
 
Yeah pretty much. The criticism would probably hit harder if we hadn't already done this same song and dance for the last 3-4 years of Pokemon releases like holy shit can you stop? By now most people don't even register the negative videos about Pokemon because they are a genre on to their own now.

Don't get me wrong, the bugs and issues with framerate are stupid and shouldn't have happened coming from the "biggest media franchise", but they are not something the gaming community is unfamiliar with.

The most infuriating part of it all is how a lot of the yt and journoscum people will complain to hell and back about the issues but if (I'd like to say when but let's be honest here) they are fixed, not a single one of them will talk about it unless it becomes an approved topic, just like how it happened with Cyberpunk or NMS.

Legit this image describe the anti pokemon shills, like being told I had bad taste in games because I bought Scarlet and my sister bought violet, something we've done with pokemon since Gen 4 as a rare bonding moment between us. But hey, spending time with your sister/family is bad because it's not an "metacritic approved game".

The real reason not to buy it isn't its embarrassing performance issues but its bad art and wokeness. But boycotting Pokemon of all things probably won't work so not much point in harping on it too much.

I'll still get around to "obtaining" it soon to see how it otherwise holds up. Sounds like the core design is better than people expected.

Because half the people that praised Cyberpunk being "saved" either never played it or were a fag that just played Witcher 3 and sucks off CD Project Red because of it. It's like how people are now saying Halo Infinite and BF2042 are now "good" because it's the approved thing to say, and that those that were with said games day one were painted as "shills". it's just that commentators on YouTube just shit on those that do something only to do said thing later down the like (cough cough reaction vids)

I can agree with this, it's really annoying looking online for actual discussion of the games and it's all "WOWZERS IT RUNS AT 5 FPS WHEN SANDSTORMING IN THE DESERT WOAH LOOK AT THIS OBJECT NOT LOADING IN AND ALSO DID YOU KNOW POKEMON FANS ARE TASTELESS SHILLS WHO DESERVE THE TRASH THEY GET!!!!" from people who come across as being pre-disposed to want to have an issue to defend not buying it, instead of just not buying it.
Like, yeah, the games have objective flaws and faults, mostly with performance and lack of content, I understand, and I simply don't care. I am having fun with the game and with the amount of recent games I've not had fun with, I am happy to be having fun with a game.
What's weirdest to me though is that the game is about at the same standards of every Pokemon game after B2W2 and somehow people are still mad that the game is the same as the past 9 years of entries.

I don't dislike that people turn around on games on itself but the fact that a lot of journoscum and yt people just do it when it already became a topic and then don't even re-review the games or adjust the scores as would be appropriate. They claim to be "on the vanguard" of media but still behave like it's a 1950 magazine.

On the Cyberpunk front, I'm glad Edgerunners got attention on the game again and how it now actually works, that should be praised at least after the huge fuck up that it was at launch. But the head line was "Cyberpunk has XXX players due to Netflix Series" and not something like "How Cyberpunk fixed its shit and Edgerunners made it popular".

Just seems weird that I used to be called a "shill/bad taste gamer" for playing and somewhat liking BF2042 and Halo Infinite among other games day one, only for people to turn around a year or so after launch saying the game was "redeemed/saved/etc" acting like they were around day one. Just a mindset that fucking annoys the shit out of me.
 
I haven’t had any of the famous glitches I’ve seen all over social media, just some background glitches when loading in, and I’m definitely not gonna sit here and say the game doesn’t have graphical issues…

BUT

This is one of the first Pokémon games in a long long ass time that I actually do feel like I’m going out and exploring/discovering new things in a Pokémon world. I’ve actually run out of Pokeballs from running around and catching stuff for too long, something I don’t think has happened to me since Blue.

I also really like the new Pokémon in this once. Multicolored sushis/whale server, a family of screaming mice, a pink dwarf with a massive hammer, lady Gaga emu…it’s been a blast just randomly coming across new Pokémon in the field. This has a lot to do with me going in with no spoilers, but there you go.

I’ve been going for a rhythm of classes, Team Star, Titan, and gym. But I’ve also gotten so caught up in running around the world that I’ve only gotten to the third round of doing so, especially since I’m trying to go farther out of the way rather than start close each time.

So I’m really enjoying the hell out of the game, but it definitely could have used a couple extra months to work on the graphical/loading issues that pop up.

Anyway, honestly, my copy ain't even performing that bad, little bit of lag everyone in a while, but other than it's been working fine for me? why do I never get the fun glitches! I love jank!

It's not...too overt yet, but between getting rid of "are you a boy or a girl" and an increase in niggers and particularly faggy characters, it's pretty clear they're flirting with it more and more. I think that Iono was also obvious trans bait.
