It appears that the Taiwanese game cover for S/V may have been leaked. There's no confirmation yet if the leaker has the game cartridge as well, or if the game box is only for display:

This does seem to line up with how someone got a copy of Sword/Shield early (11/1), and leaked the game.
The oddly centred 'Scarlet'/'Violet' characters make the boxes look fake.

They're display cases, the back of the cases lack bar codes.

Not what I was expecting from the coin Pokémon, but the design is growing on me. I like that it has dowsing rods for antenna. That's a neat touch. Also like that its tail is based on a money clip.

At least according to the leaks it has a strong evolution, so at least it has that going for it.

So apparently the Charizard Ultra-Premium Collection that everyone was shitting their pants over is insanely easy to get at MSRP, so much so that people who preordered UPC bundles from smaller stores were refunding their preorders and that caused a minor shitfit in the online Pokémon TCG community. The only downside is that the quality control for the promo cards is atrocious, I’m seeing a lot of miscut and poorly–centered cards in their boxes.

If there‘s one thing in the Pokémon TCG I’m happy to be wrong about is when products are piss-easy to buy.

I hope it‘s as strong as Aegislash is currently, Ghost/Steel is an amazing type combo but Gen 6 Aegislash was nuts.

As I've said before, I can appreciate any design where I get what it's going for, so your comments on the Antenna and Tail make me like this thing a little more.

I guess this is Pokemon's traditional fantasy Mimic, huh? As well as Gen 9's Meltan. I like that this is easier to get for straight game players. Considering it supposedly has an evolution, I wonder what that will look like.

I also note that in it's trailer, the pokemon it's shown fighting are other treasure-hunters - Sableye and Meowth.

I may actually add this to my team... depending on whether this or Greavard's supposed evolution looks better.

For what it's worth, according to the leaks Gimmighoul's evolution is supposed to be:
This Pokemon is op, with a powerful new ability and a crazy high power signature move without any negative effect
The move: 5pp 140/150 base power attack move

Only downside is you have to collect 999 coins in order to evolve it, but it's said to be worth the effort (also it's evo should be Ghost/Steel type).

Apologies for the double post, but someone was able to get a copy of the game early, and posted some leaks online.

Apparantly at some point in the early gme you come across the game's legendary washed up on the shore:

Here's some other screenshots of the leaks:

A new female character, which should be really popular with R34 artists, as all of the women in these games are:

And another guy, that has striking resemblance to Shigeru Ohmori, the director of S/V, and also directed ORAS, SuMo, and SwSh:

Hate the fact this is called "Purpura" (purple) in spain instead of "Violeta" (violet). I am sure there is some explanation that might go AKSHUALLY PURPURA IS THE SHADE THAT THE JAPANESE WERE GOING FOR AND IT IS AMERICA/THE REST OF THE WORLD WHO ARE WRONG. Whatever is the case "escarlata/violeta" sounds better.
Glad I learned english since the spanish localizations of pokemon are super obnoxious at times of you don't live in spain.

Some of the names are really bad (Barkness? Really?), but the typings seem really good.
I know right? Some of these names are pushing it, but it was dropped around the same time the first leaks came out. There is a Pokémon event tomorrow morning & we'll see if anything that appears in that matches this list.
One thing is Wopper's new evolution is named Toxalotl. That is also the name of a TemTem, but I can see Pokémon not giving a shit.
Map of the Paldea region:
Notice that thin blue line in the upper right hand corner? Hmm how interesting, that's where France's border with Spain is.
