I don't get the singer part, but it doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would.
It looks a lot better than the last two final Fire-starter evolutions that's for sure.

My immediate thought was how he looks like a tiny Wailord.
Honestly I like him.
I was expecting something a lot worse looking, and it's not bipedal furbait so I'll take that as a major win.

I actually am not bothered myself (especially by the Sprigatito line), but I know tha the fandom hates bipedal designs, thus ignoring Blaziken, Charizard, and Blastoise.

Personally I don't specifically hate bipedal designs, I just don't like the "human" bipedal designs. 2 of the 3 starters from SwSh were just people in costumes, and the other was an animal. It looks like SV is taking the same approach with their starters.
