So the overworld encounters look like they are taking what legends did and trying to expanding on it, I was swearing they would go back to hallway bullshit after legends and never been happier about being proven wrong. new pokemon designs might suck tho that is tbd

Pompadour duck looks the best out of all of them. I mean it's nice to see the next gen look less linear (and the shine on Magnemite's model is lovely) but jesus christ they need to slow down on the games.

The Toilet (Fire dino/crocodile) has the potential to be pretty badass, imo. I have not idea where they'll go with the other two however.

I'm just glad arceus was actually a test bed for games going forward but do agree that if they pump games on this scale out annually there will be fatigue

also with the trailer shit from stuff like combee and starly it's looking like they are reusing alot of pla's mons for the reigon as well, new reigon might possibly be in spirit a sinnoh vassel state lmao

I'm a lot more impressed this time around. I still feel like it's missing some polish but it's a significant improvement over their previous entries.

Main point to focus on for them is the anti-aliasing, how distant objects are rendered (a few times you have low-res parts of the environment that pop out too much, could use a little blur to help), and certain moving objects seem to have a really low framerate which is pretty off-putting.

It certainly still feels rather rough, but it feels like GF's experience with SW/SH and PLA are helping out a lot here.

Personally I think it won't be as OP to sneak up on mons but there will be elements like that in the game since there's still grass in the new footage that looks like the stuff you can hide in like in PLA

On one hand, at least they actually had something to show unlike the Digimon event. On the other hand, three rushed games with less features and Pokemon then the previous titles isn't really an appealing output. I want it to be good, for sure. I don't want any game to be bad. But, I'm pretty doubtful that GameFreak can pull off a win.

PLA was a pleasant surprise, so I'm hopeful. Although, I don't know why their pushing out another game this year consider PLA came out almost a month ago.
