Why is Mewtwo number 150 but Mew, the original, is 151?
Mew was actually a last minute addition to Pokémon and that the developers added it as a joke between colleagues.
Where do people poop in the pokemon universe? I have yet to see a toilet in any of the games.
There is a toilet and shower room in Pokémon Sun and Moon in Iki Town.

Does that game have sewers filled with shit-eating grimers? Are grimers literally made of shit? These are dumb questions that need answers.

Beautifly - "It has an aggressive nature. It stabs prey with its long, narrow mouth to drain the prey's fluids." -Diamond Pokedex Entry
Hypno - "It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized."

Drifloon - "These Pokémon are called the "Signpost for Wandering Spirits." Children holding them sometimes vanish."

And what happened to those kids you ask?

Phantump - "According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest."

Sure there's pokemon centers for injured pokemons (where they hope to see you again), but where do people go for medical treatment?

Also with the marts "full of pokemon goods," where do people buy stuff that's not pokemon related?

More goofs: Team Rocket grunts remain in Mt. Moon even after Giovanni disbands Team Rocket. Did they never get the memo like the one foreigner in Gen II?

Your rival always becomes Champion and rubs it in your face just to lose it to you every time you re-challenge the League. (Programmed script, I know, but still silly.)

How does your rival get past the Snorlax before you wake it up to stay one step ahead of you? What is he, a ninja lurking in your shadow?

Yeah, of course Mew was a last-minute addition and it got marketed as a secret Pokémon once Nintendo learned of it. But there's talk that "Mew" was one of the first trademarks; problem is, I can't find the source, although there's registration/application numbers listed.

Still is weird for the PokéDex numbers to be switched like that. Whatever the reason, it's probably similar to why it is Victini is #0 of the Unova 'Dex.

They've actually fixed the Mt. Moon Team Rocket thing in LeafGreen and FireRed. Hell the post-game event is basically beating a group of Team Rocket remnants that's gonna form the Johto branch in Gold/Silver/Crystal. LeafGreen and FireRed really adds some NPCs that are gonna be future characters in G/S/C/HG/SS.

Meta-retconning aside, was there a reason Magnemite/Magneton had swiftly adapt to become part-Steel sometime during the three years before Gen II? What are Magnemite's natural predators, anyway?

Forgot about the Mt. Moon grunts, but the Sevii Islands side-quest was amazing and I wish there was more like that.

I think one of the Island Kahunas in Sun/Moon was Dark type. The depressed police chief with all the Aloan Meowths.
Kahuna? Is that what Gym leaders were called in the new game? Guess it fits with Hawaii and all. Did he have a dark-themed or police-themed gym or something?

Sun/Moon didn’t have Gyms. They had Grand Trials. You essentially had to complete a special task, making the “Gym” basically a certain area on the island that you had to explore while doing a special thing.

He looked like this:

And his full team was this:

And the police station was just full of Aloan Meowths.

Oh. So was the trial area at least a big police station or dark abandoned prison etc?

According to the late-Takeshi Shudo, ten-year-olds in the Pokémon world are legally adults. So that means ten-year-old kids can literally be voted into office because why the fuck not. Although this is anime-related, don't know if this still fits into the game. But if kids can be gym leaders, they can be politicians. Honestly am disappointed no politician character/trainer class has shown up in the game.

Nah, Nanu just challenges you after you beat Team Skull.

He's got some serious 'tude, the game kinda shows it, but graphic limitations don't do him justice. He flaunts it in the anime.
