This is a breaking news update…more details to come.

Why? Did you really think it would be in-place forever? It's politically untenable to maintain an Emergency Powers act when the "emergency" (however much you may disagree whether it is an actual emergency) is over.
I know that this is A&N and blackpills abound but Christ.
I wonder if his handlers passed along just how bad the optics were looking for this, and thus decided to make a tactical withdrawal from the issue (for now).
Emergencies Act is mostly used to go to war. Since there's a none zero chance that that will actually be happening in the next couple weeks, the Boy doesn't want to make the decision without a shitload of people to blame.
Points are not awarded for giving back that which was taken. Even the most charitable reception should be a return to zero. Are the protestor's lives any less ruined? Their bank accounts thawed? Those up north need to sort themselves the fuck out.
Yeah I mean he's just "taking steps" to end it, so the stuff that normies can understand as bad will be cancelled but you're still at the mercy of the government if you want to make use of Finance or have a Job.
I honestly wonder if he did it because he knows that his chances of being assassinated increase every single day he keeps this shit up. Frankly, I'll be surprised if nobody actually kills him at some point, in office or not.

yeah he hasnt ended them merely taking steps to do it. The longer it last the worse it gets but end of the day, they pulled the trigger and theres no coming back. Canadian will remember this. I rly hope the liberal and NDP are done for next election.
They got him looking like a bootleg Tucker Carlson.
I wonder if their spirits were definitively squashed or they'll end up protesting on and off to have them activate and deactivate the emergencies act like a yo-yo.
