I've discussed the importance of preserving culture to him and he just doesn't seem to care. We've got people out there spending millions of dollars to prevent species from going extinct. Preventing culture from going extinct costs $0 and literally anyone can contribute.
 
Hey I am having issues finding the raw Japanese volumes of Yani Neko. I have 1-9 torrented off of Nyaa, but I especially need 10 to 13 which isn't there. I found a place that lets me rip the web chapters, but I need the volume chapters specifically due to slight differences between the versions. Any good places to start looking besides Nyaa?

Check the links to the shady manga piracy websites that are almost always in the descriptions for raw manga torrents. Those sites always have links to file-sharing sites for you to direct download the raw manga rips that are in the torrents. I've noticed pretty often those sites will have download links to newer volumes that haven't been put into a nyaa torrent yet. Checking right now, all those sites have links to volumes 10-13 of Yani Neko. This site works particularly well since they give you a shitload of redundant links to a bunch of different file-sharing sites, which makes downloading things faster.

Please just install Vegas Pro, there are a million and one torrents for it and even YouTube tutorials, it's a one-and-done installation and doesn't require an continual internet connection at all and just a do-it-once before boot-up crack. Vegas Pro is so immaculately retard proof.

Yeah I'm gonna retract my recommendation for Davinci Resolve on Linux. It's fucking dogshit. It can't even play back h.264 video or open/decode h.265 video at all without special magic incantations for nvidia hardware and endless CLI voodoo to trick it into working right on Radeon GPUs. Fucking piece of shit couldn't play a single video I tried to open with it. Complete waste of time.

You're probably legitimately better off running the Windows version of it under Wine than trying to coax the native Linux build to do anything meaningful. Feels bad, man. I was initially happy to see the native build. I should have known when I dug into the installed files and saw all the extra copies of nvidia libraries and qt runtimes I was in for a multi-hour struggle session.

The seller is someone we can contact since we know their name, they know who it are by your order mom and what you ordered and they also know your real name and address. It seems plausible that someone could invent some sort of story that persuades the seller to hand over your contact info, at least it’s something you should probably avoid sharing unless you are fine with being doxed

Depends if you want new or not. If yes I'd probably get the 6tb if needed right now since $50.00 more than 4tb, but is over $200.00 by $20.00

I have to buy what I consider a lot of hard drives for "work." Usually buy them in batches so there is the main and then at least a couple of copies because you know had that goes.
I remember buy WD 5TB for like $130 and now they're cresting 200.
Buy them now if you have the cash because it's gonna get natsy with the oil crisis.

I love having a huge server and im constantly adding stuff. I love having lots of storage and having media in great quality. Theres no subpar rips [unless its only stuff available]. Like I get why people grab yify rips, but they are so shitty especially the audio. Ive seen rips with like under 60kbit avg audio.

Anyways, ive been trying out some av1 encoded stuff and I have to say its cool just the limited hardware decoding support is disappointing. For the time being im still going to grab media in h.265 1080-4k Id rather not have my server transcode just because a device cant play back av1.

A kind of benefit ive noticed with it is that it takes so long to encode that there arent any groups putting out dog shit quality encodes of it so far which we all know will change, but its nice for now.

there's an argument that dumb shit you do as a dumb kid shouldn't stay around forever. of course it would be much easier to not put it on the internet in the first place, but kids are hardly ever smart....

also with "hole" and "memory" there's a joke somewhere, but I'm not drunk enough to put in an eloquent form.
