Does anyone know where I can find some decent downloads of the first ten seasoms of The Simpsons?

Some of my discs have got disc rot and the torrents I have found on the pirate bay don't have anyone seeding them. I really want to rewatch the show.

Are you really asking for a way to torrent one of the most popular fucking shows in existence's golden seasons? There are probably more torrents for that than there are trees in the Amazon.

Go to 1337x
Type in “the simpsons” and search
Sort by file size
Review the first five results, checking the seeders and comments.

Gotta pump those numbers. I fudged my numbers a bit to be more anon but they're real enough.

Why no, Special Agent Bubba, a law-abiding dairy cow like myself wouldn't dare dream of ever committing copyright infringement, even concerning America's Favorite Family™, nor would I know how to find a source for such naughty things!

does anyone know where I can find seasons 3 and 4 of Nyukhach aka The Sniffer? I got seasons 1 and 2 but can't track down a valid download for the other two seasons.

and has anyone done the subtitles for season 2 of cyberfarm yet?

Bro, just go to ext.to and look for it there if you for some reason decide not to take that guy's suggestion for 1337x, which is also good.

Speaking of that sort of thing, whatever happened to sites that hosted links for direct downloads? It feels like it has become somewhat more difficult to find them, and therefore the "meta" for pirating older stuff in many cases is to check archive.org if you don't want to torrent.

https://movieparadise.org/ has been a favourite of mine for DDL (with a debrid service) the last couple years, for movies and documentaries at least. They have a lot of the RARBG releases of things which are still my go to if I can find them for stuff where I don't care about quality; it's not amazing but better than yts shit and they usually have subs included.

Hdencode.org has higher quality releases but less selection.

They got Kim Dotcom and took down Megaupload.

Jk, storage is expensive still and DDL sites have to subsidize with fuckton of ads, and massive throttle free downloads in some way, plus they're the easiest to copyright strike.

easiest to copyright strike
This is a general problem for all DDL and 1 click hoster type sites.
You can see this really well for older releases (ie 5+ years since someone last looked at it).
There can be 10 different hosters, but of those 4 are permanently offline because some brainlet decided to place his gray-zone file hosting service in the EU,
5 will be copyright struck and down and the last one is some obscure service which offers free DLs at a blazing 50kb/s that costs 240$ LIMITED TIME OFFER!: 120$ per year of VIP PREMIUM PLUS and only accepts payment in dogecoin and western union.
And before you ask, No, that release will not be re-uploaded. Presumably because the OP uploader does not even have these files anymore.

All of this is also even worse for movies because the companies there are seemingly even more anal about DMCAing anything that moves than say AAA game publishers.

I guess that rather than being simply a loss of a great service with Megaupload, it was the start of a long downward spiral, along with Mediafire panicking and becoming stringent about illegal downloads and Rapidshare shutting down. Mega at least seems to work fine when I do find a website that uses it.

Oh, I forgot to mention the limited bandwidth per 24/hr some hosts will have.

Snaph is good in hosting things in mega.nz, though, depending on the content, you may have to notify the uploader of a deadlink and wait.

As always, the press lied, and promised us the demise of a shitty industry then failed to deliver after we did our part.

They will forever deserve their lügenpresse moniker.
There was legit a period of time from 2012-2016 were I barely pirated any TV shows or movies because everything eventually came to Netflix. It's really mind boggling how good it was before they all got greedy and started to carve everything up for the rights fees.

It's similarly impressive how fast it's all crashing down now thanks to the one-two punch of "they're mostly making nothing but shit now" and "it's all split across multiple streaming services so it's even worse and more expensive than cable was."

Talk about having the world in the palm of your hand and deliberately self-destructing for no good reason.

For years I used an OTA antenna for most stuff and a Netflix subscription. For stuff on other networks I'd buy the season on Amazon usually. Ended up cheaper than multiple subscriptions, they don't do that any more. Now I just pirate it all, well, what little new stuff I watch.

and the uppercut finisher of "we're increasing the subscription cost every 6 months"

Yeah, it's fucking bizarre. They keep "springing the trap" before people are actually wrapped up in it. They're forgetting an important step of the walled garden model -- you have to actually trap the fuckers inside the damned thing first before you can start the squeeze.

I wanted to see Reacher on Amazon Prime, and they required me to install Widevine (FFS people will rip this anyway). So I pirated that.

Also some movies are only available in the US on Netflix, e.g., I really like the film "The Mothman Prophecies." This is not available outside of the US.
Why is a 24-year-old movie not available globally? The movie was sold on DVD and VHS in the UK, I know, as I have it on DVD.

As I have it on DVD, and I could get the PS3 out of the loft to play it. Or I could pirate it and watch it in 2 minutes.

They are actively fucking themselves out of people using their walled garden over this sort of bullshit.
