I've said this a million times, but it's so crazy that he does this while also hollerin' that he's always has pussy lined up around the block for him. I'm not convinced he took the bus at all.

A bus ride from Tijuana to Merida is 2500 miles and would take about 3 days by bus.

Google Flights shows flights for around $170 on that route, even in Mexico I can't see the bus being that cheap for such a long trip.

My guess is he just fell asleep in the airport and missed his flight again during the connection, then when he finally got to Merida he was just so exhausted he loaded up the xannies and booze and spent the next 2 days passed out.

He's chronically fatigued, getting out of bed is a real struggle for Gunt.

The only reason for him to take a bus is if he was genuinely banned by the airlines, but then how did he get to Colombia?

- debt collectors
- Bills related to the rental he and Pantsu left in shambles (This is assuming the landlord did a house visit when the lease was up for renewal and not after he fled)

I'm sure there's more, but that's all of the potential factors that come to mind that led to Ralph making the worst decision in his life.

Add total control over May and the credit debt he ran up in her name getting ready to blow up in his face. His own credit is shot so he used May to get CC, loans. etc…but all that shit was catching up with him.

The car crash lawsuit lit the fuse, but he realized fleeing to Mexico he could also escape all the debt he ran up, most under May’s name (including the house they trashed). Leaving the country meant he didn’t have to depend on May as much.

Anything Ralph needed in the USA required her name, but in Mexico his terrible credit and debts didn’t matter. He needed May’s CC’s to move down there but once there didn’t have to rely on her cooperation, things could be in his name and under his control.

It took only three months for shit to get so bad Harry had to strong arm the pig and Gunt insisted May cut ties with her family. Gunt had halfway behaved himself because he feared Harry and needed his subsidies, but thought he could go hog wild once he was in Mexico with May. May escaped with Rozy within four months of being under total Gunt control.

Ralph crying “you left me here to die” last week really was indicative of his mindset. He thought he had arranged a full proof prison for her down there but she escaped.

There was also the shenanigans with Faith’s diary winding up in the hands of The Daiymo while he was on a second jaunt to Portugal minus some pages that were ripped out.
