Oh no doubt, Phil is... very odd, because he's essentially a 30 something manchild desperately trying to identify as a gay/trans/asexual Latinx womyn of colour, despite being as straight and whitebread as possible. I blame a lot of his problems on identity politics. I mean, he's stupid and almost certainly has some behavioural issues that need to be addressed, but he'd be a lot happier if he never got into the gay tranny Communist shit. Somehow, he came to associate all of his radical politics and gender shit with people online giving him attention, so he's latched onto whatever identities seemed popular at the moment. Hence his shift from being gay, to trans, to ace... as well as his claiming to be Jewish, Wiccan, Buddhist, Communist, Satanist, etc. Its all just LARPing for him, and to some degree he knows its fake, even if he's afraid to admit it. I believe Ravenor has even said Phil has anxiety about acknowledging he's white. Of course, Toren knows all of this. Toren lived with him, and put up with all of his shit, but unlike the dwindling number of online asspatters, Toren was never afraid to tell Phil he isn't Latinx or trans. In fact, I'm sure that's a big part of the reason Phil doesn't want Toren to leave and will put up with the vodka ogre stealing his bed and living there rent free.
For a while now, I've said that one of the most telling thing about Phil is that he actually seems embarrassed to be seen out and about in public wearing a dress or identifying as a woman, at least outside of certain cosplay activities where he wants to be photographed to present a specific image. Granted he lucked out by latching onto a particular subculture that says you are whatever you say you are, but most of them weren't dumb enough to cover their bodies in tattoos proclaiming they're demifluid jellyfishkin. They can easily move away from it once they hit puberty or graduate college. Phil is stuck with his identities long after they aren't popular or trendy anymore. In fact, I sometimes wonder if Phil realizes how permanent tattoos are. He's very stupid and immature, but I get the feeling both him and Chris think that they magically go from being young, hip guys to adults with jobs and families, without realizing the hard work you need to put in to reach that point. I don't think Phil realizes that he's done fucked up his life.
Phil doesn't really drop identities; its more like he cycles through them. This is probably a symptom of his autism, but once he gets interested in something, he tends to make it a permanent part of his persona. He's sort of becoming obsessed with Judaism again, despite his anti-Semitism. He also apparently is still into anime, but won't admit it because the other antifa troons think its childish. I do agree that he will probably eventually drop or at least downplay being a "woman," and possibly even his whole Latinx thing though. I don't think being a woman specifically was ever all that important to him, just being a special unique snowflake who is different from all of his peers, so just like he went from being gay to being trans when gay got too "boring" and "mainstream," its possible that being a woman will get dropped in favor of something else.
With all that being said, eventually the whole SJW politics thing is going to become stale, as all youth trends inevitably do. In a few years it may very well wither on the vine, just as emo or crunk or fidget spinners did, in which case Phil will likely try to keep jerking off it for another decade (assuming he lives that long) while all the actual teenagers move on to whatever the new fad is. Or possibly trannies will go so mainstream that Phil will feel he's no longer unique and special, and he'll have to jump onto yet another trend to socially isolate himself from the world. Or maybe he'll finally get tired of keeping up with SJW trends, or just realize he can't mooch off them anymore, and he'll try to ingratiate himself to another community. Environmentalists have been tossed around as one possibility, and others have speculated he'll try to convert to Islam and identify as a long lost Palestinian. Its entirely possible Phil will go hard right. Weird as it sounds, he does seem to believe in some right wing points (in fact, I think he even bought into some Alex Jones stuff), and even behaves more like what a right winger would think of as a cartoonish caricature of the left.
A sudden "born again" phase where Phil claims to "see the light" and tells everyone how those evil leftists misled him would be hilarious, but it would probably still manage to net him some asspats from a different, though equally gullible, online crowd. I'm not sure Phil is actually bright enough to pull it off though. More likely, he'll simply stumble into some crowd that wants to exploit him as a patsy, assuming he manages to make any human connections at all outside of Toren and whatever twat took him to the gun range (and even then, said mystery person only appears to have hung out with Phil once or twice; just because they didn't spill the beans to the farms doesn't necessarily mean they're sympathetic to Phil, since they haven't taken him out for any further adventures that we know of).
