I wouldn't put it past Slingblade or the building management to just straight up lie to him about this to get him to shut up.

"No it's just a routine check. Stop freaking out. We're just going to come in and look around, it's routine"

It doesn't take much for a routine maintenance inspection to escalate to a full worse than a marine barracks inspection if things aren't just right or the inspector feels like being a hard ass.

Nice to see the sex of Phil's landlord still flip flopping
Pick a fucking narrative phil

I would think Toren would (:optimistic:) get the apartment in semi-decent shape seeing as he hasn't set up a new mark yet. I kind of would like to see ADF have a freakout if he has to take his map collages off of the walls...

I can imagine Slingblade trying to "seduce" the poor maitenance guy, trying to get him to soften up, or let something slide. "Ignore the giant booze smelling vomit stain next to my bed, and I'll give you the Big daddy Eggy special. #analrips"

Isn't Phil probably lying about the real reason for the visit? He may be too embarrassed to admit that they are coming to inspect his apt to make sure it's not a filthy hell hole and downplaying it by saying it's just to check the smoke detectors and shit?
Don't know much about OR but everywhere I've rented before they were required by law to check the smoke detectors every six months. So that's not out of the ordinary though knowing how Phil likes to spin things to fit his narrative who knows what he's not saying.

Why would he be screaming about being imminently thrown out on his ass if it was just about that?

Didn't he complain about Slingblade breaking the microwave? Is it possible Slingblade routinely breaks things in a drunken rage and has actually caused significant damage to the apartment?

Make me wonder if all those maps hide fist sized holes in the walls.

This reminds me of when Slingblade couldn't find a the Adderall and he pressed Phil on FB about saying "I need that shit!!!"
That sounded like some primo tranny rage and it's possible he trashed the place and put some holes in the walls.

Sure hope tomorrow brings some entertaining bouncing and squeaking.

I don't think I will ever get over "handcuffed without safewords by police". It kept popping into my head today and cracking me up.

"I am arresting you on suspicion of -" "DINOSAUR" "- okay, okay, get the cuffs off, let him go, NOW"

ADF constantly reminds me of how happy I am to not live in a place that accepts section 8. I lived in a place that was going section 8 and honestly they just trash everything.

I have a Section 8 person in my apartment complex (single mother and kid) and they are very nice people who are grateful for the help they're getting. They keep their place clean and don't make problems.

I know that statement won't get me much Like ratings but I just hate it when people use stereotypes. That's like saying that Chris represents all autistics.

Sadly people like that are the exception, not the rule. People who are given everything in life for free and never have to work for it tend to never appreciate what they have, thus don't tend to take care of what they get. Phil and Chris are prime examples of this, and it has little or nothing to do with being Autistic. Plenty of neurotypical people don't take care of their shit when they never had to work hard for it, and they usually are never satisfied with what they do have. You don't even have to be poor to fall under this example. How many rich kids get a car from their wealthy parents, wreck it, then demand a new car? We have stereotypes for a reason.

I think you've been watching too many Youtube videos made by Section 8 slumlords. In many cases, those places they were renting out already were broken-down shitholes, but they want to scapegoat the former tenant for the damages & filth.

I'm not going to waste my time going on some long powerleveling rant, I'm just going to say that on or two bad families can completely destroy a low rent apartment complex and make the entire area seem like an unlivable dumpster. You don't notice 99 shiny apples, you notice the rotting one covered in fruit flies.

Phil is probably surrounded on most sides by people who had legitimate bad luck, and are legitimately trying to work to fix things, all while wondering why their apartment smells like unwiped ass and moldy feet, not realizing they're literally smelling this lazy spoiled mentally defective's unwiped ass and moldy feet.
