The creators of Peppa Pig have introduced a new family that’ll have many jumping with excitement in muddy puddles.

The latest episode of the popular children’s series introduces Penny Polar Bear and her two mummies — marking the show’s first ever same-sex couple.

“One mummy is a doctor and one mummy cooks spaghetti,” Penny explains to Peppa in one scene (via The Mirror).

The addition of Penny Polar Bear and her two mummies comes on the heels of a fan petition calling on the show to add same-sex parents. Though Peppa has emerged as an icon in the LGBTQ community, some fans were bothered by the lack of gay representation over the show’s 18 season, 250 episode run.

“Children watching Peppa Pig are at an impressionable age, and excluding same-sex families will teach them that only families with either a single parent or two parents of different sexes are normal,” the petition read. “This means that children of same-sex parents may feel alienated by Peppa Pig, and that other children may be more likely to bully them, simply through ignorance.” To date, nearly 25,000 people have signed on the petition.

Last year, Sesame Street made its own history by introducing a gay couple for the first time in the show’s 51-year history. (Bert and Ernie don’t count.)

So in a decade I guess they'll do an episode where Penny Polar Bear's revealed to have "serviced" her two moms and all of their friends and that's treated as a normal thing

The show is already known for teaching young kids bad habits and mannerisms, from acting like a pig, sounding like a pig, being a rude brat, among many things. If this is what nails in the coffin for parents to really get their kids to stop watching this garbage, then they already failed.

they were right; Peppa Pig is absolutely haram.

Peppa Pig is an obnoxious cartoon and I question every single parent who allows the program around their children. I also think that peppa pig can drive the average person to the brink of insanity though. Between this and fucking Caillou, it isn't any wonder why zoomers are the way they are.

I have my doubts, seeing as this is a show geared to children 5 and under.

Oh wait. Forgot about the groomers. Now it makes sense.

And this is why you should save kid shows that you know aren't pozzed. Anything pre 2006 would do it. Just make sure you do a runthrough of it before handing it to your spawn as the pozz we see today is built from pozz back then.

In fact, if you're gonna hand your kid an electronic to shut em up, make sure it runs off a media player and its off the internet because Google just loves trying their hand at turning people gay.

Well at least they know their audience right?

All I can say is stay away from the heelers you freaks. You can have the pig show.

And just like that Pei Wei (Peppa Pig) is banned in China where it has a huge following with kids.

Ah, who am I kidding? They'll never submit this episode for broadcast in China. They'll play both sides to keep the cash cow pig paying out.

No children should be watching peppa pig already, optimistically I'd hope this drives anyone already questioning this programming away. It's a cancer that assisted the youtube elsagate shit, and the same parents that sit their kids in front of those tablets make a bulk of the audience here.

Guess that just leaves Bluey as the only all-ages children's toon that is still acceptable and not skeevy to watch for one's kids.

Well, unless you're like me and lurk Animal Control enough to know how diaperfurs have latched onto that show like deer ticks.
