No one was reported to be suffering any ill effects from exposure to the substance, the Washington Examiner reported.

Ricin is a highly toxic compound that is extracted from castor beans and has been used in terror attacks.

Considering the timing of the deliveries:

  • Either the sender is extremely autistic and mailed the packages in such a way that they'd arrive at the same time on the same day
  • It's a coincidence and they're unrelated
  • It was two people, one near the D.C. area and one in Texas and they cooperated to send the packages so they'd arrive at the same time.

You aren't going to ever get anything by mail through DC's security. When I worked remotely for the feds, my supervisor in DC gave me his home address to send him hard copies of some mandatory paperwork since it would literally take weeks for him to get mail through official channels and the physical copies were time sensitive. It was a retarded system.

Actually even I'm not that retarded, everyone knows the pentagon's mail is is locked the fuck down like fort Knox and it can take weeks to get basic letters through the system. Even then you think some powdery shit can kill Matis? This person was super exceptional.
