I have seen this shared a couple of times today, the Facebook timeline is open and the OP seems cool with it.. so I left the name unredacted.

This raises all sorts of questions, not least why has this been public on Facebook for 48 hours and there is absolutely no comment anywhere else?

If Penn Jillette is a child rapist, then how come he hasn't used his magic to make the evidence disappear? Checkmate Muslims.
 
I'm actually glad to see that Penn has some legal help on call for this sort of shit.

Even if you're not famous, all it takes is one crazy and/or vindictive bitch accusing you of rape to ruin you these days. You'll get dogpiled by the media and SJWs before you can blink.

And even if you're proven 100% innocent, your reputation is pretty much toast.

Unfortunately these days, it seems like the only way to play it safe is to have a team of rabid lawyers willing to not only prove you innocent, but sue the living fuck out of any accusers...
 
I don't know if these allegations are true or false, but as far as I know, I'm not going to weigh in either way except to say this thread should not come down because of some form letter crap telling us to take it down.

Hell, we don't even know if it's true yet, and if it's bullshit, well, it's bullshit.

If not, we'll go from there.
 
Facebook posts are not how you report rape. The proper procedure is to report to PZ Myers first so he can declare you guilty Free Thought Blogs. Then Penn Jillette will be banned from all the skeptic events, which is the proper punishment for all rapist.

TL DR, not buying.
 
Doubt it. This is not Penn's sexual MO. This is not a way he approaches women or sets up dates. If this had happened I suspect she would have at least been able to give enough specific details that would add up with how he conducts himself with other women. I am not saying the man is always engaging in feminist-approved conduct, but this is quite far from anything reality based.
 
This is going to make me sound like a total MRA but I do think sadly there is a lot of incentive in our society to make false rape claims. Listen and believe culture forces us to act like the women's allegations are 100% credible and the accused is automatically treated as 100% guilty without a shred of evidence. Rape victims are treated not as victims of crimes but as brave activists standing up to the patriarchy or whatever and receive massive amounts of fawning media coverage, we've essentially through our misguided empathy given people the ability to ruin someone's life and reputation without proof or accountability. Hell look at Mattress Girl, even after it was proven that she made it all up the man she accused was still expelled and Mattress Girl was even allowed to write her senior thesis on the rape which was proven to be false. Why wouldn't people make shit up when there are only positives and no punishment for charlatans and scammers?

Mattress girl, UVA, Duke lacrosse scandal, Max Temkin, that magic the gathering guy I don't really remember... A half dozen others I have forgotten - it has been proven pretty conclusively that listen and believe is the worst policy in the world - for sjws even, in terms of credibility. And yet they still cling to it.
 
Atheists have no real moral center like Christians do so this sounds entirely likely and probably true. What an asshole!
