The Kosher for Passover Coke is back!
Not being a smartass but do you drink non-kosher coke at other times? I assume that everyone who observes pesach makes an attempt to be kosher during it, even if they’re not shomer kashrut normally.

Yeah, we do. I actually had some the other day.

Every single year, I buy a big tub of whitefish salad to put on my matzah for breakfast. For the past three years, I have forgotten to finish it and ended my passover with a half-rotten tub of fish salad.

This year, despite not learning my lesson and buying a tub anyways, I have actually managed to finish the tub ahead of schedule. But today is Easter, so I can't go out and buy another... :story:

Anyone else have good recommendations for replacement matzah toppings? Ran out of charoset on day one.

I can only recommend butter, because that's how I used to used to eat the sheets as a kid. Otherwise there's fried matzoh, where you soak a couple to a few sheets in some water (depending how much you want) and then cook it with some eggs, usually eaten with pancake syrup.

People put pancake syrup in their gefrishte motzeh?? Why would you ever do that? :c

Is matzo ball soup any good? Local supermarket just got Matzo bread instock and I'm considering trying to make it.
Matzo ball soup is excellent! Perfect comfort meal. Tastes great with either chicken or vegetable stock. Made a vegetarian version (vegetable stock and extra carrots/celery) for some friends. They enjoyed it so much they made it for dinner later that week.

I recommend making the balls smaller than you think. If they're too big they can get dense and not cook in the middle (ask me how I know). Iirc there are some recipes that use a bit of baking soda to help them fluff up.
