Finally got some news on Stellaris Willpower, but nothing of actual use. I hope it gives the game some much needed internal strife. As long as you aren't retarded and you build a single amenity building your pops are just cattle.
Wow, a basic feature years overdo from a studio famed for its ideological and religious conflict sims. Unfortunately, their optimization will remain abysmal and there is no point returning.

I have to give some credit to the Stellaris devs, they actually TRY. My other series of choice is Crusader Kings and those idiots don't listen to feedback and have just gutted the strategy out of grand strategy entirely.

Stellaris devs might ruin the game trying to reinvent the wheel when they just need to make stellaris 2 but at least they listen and try.

I don't see anything useful in this video. There isn't a link to the mod, other than a description of 'they used AI to rewrite the game into using a globe rather than a paper map' ok so where do I play it? What is the fucking use of this if I can't actually download and play it?

This is why I hate all this 'AI rewrote this game for me' nonsense since I can't actually see anyone playing it. Just a shitty video. Might as well be concept art for all the use it is to me.

Coal was originally a shitty addition from one of the major mods for HoI IV (iirc it was World Ablaze) that I always felt was unfun and made the game worse. Rather than coal, they should have adopted something like BlackIce's food system which prevents you from fielding hundreds of divisions if you don't control a bread-basket to loot. At the very least it would force them to make the AI do something other than unit spam and learn how to make a division or plan an assault.
What World Ablaze did differently from PDX is that they created historically-accurate coal resources, so most places have enough to match their basic industrial needs and the USA, the world's biggest coal seam, isn't choking to death due to a coal shortage on civ econ.

Knowing how LLMs actually work the mod is probably totally unplayable and breaks as soon as ANYTHING moves, and it is coded in such mindboggling way using random trash as scaffolding that trying to stop it from crashing would mean a full rewrite.

There is a real mod on the workshop of this

Lmao . So you want to be elected into local self-government in Prague . What are you qualifications ?
Well I have mastered City Skylines . :story:
Tbf I think this guy would probably do better job than green lunatics who are running that place right now .
The other guy is also funny: Master League champion in Football Manager. ÜberLOL.

Some guy added an LLM to EU5 1.3, very useful potential for roleplaying and creating additional immersion.

Reminds me of Pax historia.

There were these gut-busting screenshots of Hitler annexing Poland without war breaking out because he threatened to kill himself but I can't find them.
Maybe Andronikos III can regain all of the empire's lost lands if just suicide-baited hard enough.
