More than Disney? Nintendo? Etc.? I seriously doubt that.
Besides, she seems to put a lot of work into her Patreon, I don't see any reason to complain.
I was talking about individuals. Managers at Disney Animation studios make 170k a year compared to her 600k. https://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/Walt-Disney-Animation-Studios-Salaries-E17212.htm

But now I'm getting off topic. The guy who makes questionable content has one and he makes over $7,500 a month. https://www.patreon.com/jephjacques?ty=h

This is the kind of money you can expect to make when you write popular My Little Pony fanfiction.

To be exact, this is the kind of money you can expect to make when you write popular My Little Pony fanfiction that is a fanfiction of a popular My Little Pony fanfic that's a crossover between My Little Pony and the Fallout franchise, is gratuitously grimdark and edgy, and is well over twice the length of War and fucking Peace.

Obviously, I need to switch hobbies.

Oh my God, that guy. I recall a big meltdown between him and his editor because there was something about a chapter turning into what pretty much amounted to a shonen anime? And everyone thought it was so terrible that he rewrote it from scratch?

Given how Project Horizons turned out, I think 'shonen anime' perfectly describes the entire story, let alone a single chapter.

To be more accurate, 'an awful shonen anime' perfectly describes Project Horizons.

Y'know, the concept of being able to make money from your hobbies (by having people pay you simply to do what's fun for you) does sound rather cool at first. But it also sounds a bit too easy for me, a little too good to be true, so I'm not that surprised it gets abused so often. Unfortunately if the site ever does decide to crack down on abuse, they'll probably drive away at least half of their user base.

Why are people giving Wu money?.......To sit around, look ugly, and bitch about how women are being treated when she knows about 80 - 90 percent hate him?

Anyone willing to give Wu money deserves to lose that money.

Actually, let me rephrase that, anyone willing to contribute to almost any Patreon deserves to lose that money.

Crowdfunding businesses have nothing to gain by cracking down on alleged abuse unless there's something actually illegal happening. The reason for this is that Patreon, Kickstarter, GoFundMe and all the others have financial gain to make by simply not giving a shit. They don't care if Brianna Wu is some tranny reincarnation of Hitler or whatever. They don't care if there are gross bronies getting money for making porn fan art and clop stories. They don't care if you crowdsource a quarter of a million dollars and then don't make the product. All they care about is that they get their 5% in the end and whatever else happens falls under "welp, that's on you guys for investing your money into this we told you about the risks!"

Gamergate is the best thing to happen to the people on Patreon's payroll.
