So I concur with everyone that he deserves a way longer thread. We need to somehow hook some autist into being obsessed with this guy and combing through not only his current content but also cataloging his extensive resume. I have several thoughts on him.

Parallels with Other Psychos: The thing I haven't seen mentioned here (though a couple of people on Twitter have said it) is how much he parallels Terry A Davis. Now Terry actually created something less than 1% of people on this flat earth could create and had a practical intellect and genuinely seemed like he wanted good things for people, so there's that departure. But compare Owen's Christianity takes (which just make me roll my eyes especially with how much he's flip-flopped) with one of my favorite Terry rants about being "the pope of the whites":

Owen isn't at full blown schizo level YET, but he's definitely sliding that way, especially the more isolated he's getting.

Another parallel to this sort of sudden psychotic break is between him and someone you guys probably haven't heard of because you're not a raging faggot like me: Lucian Piane. Lucian Piane was a music producer who worked with RuPaul on his most successful albums and was a regular guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race for 8 seasons. Then one day in 2016, he snapped. His Instagram somehow or another got purged, but I remember one video very clearly of him asking his mom (who came out to take care of her 36-year-old successful music producer son) to sing while he played the piano and she basically sang about how Bernie Sanders was going to literally save the world. Owen's mom, as you may have seen, is very new agey as well so the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Parenting Issues: One thing I will give Owen is that he genuinely seems to care for his kids and does make at least some effort to preserve their innocence by not talking about certain things in front of them, but he fails miserably. Owen is also part of a very common terrible parenting trend I've observed in people I follow on Twitter as well as from 10 years living in Seattle: parents being their children's sole social interaction. With these kids not going to school (one of the most common conservative platitudes I strongly disagree with is their obsession with homeschooling), being in an isolated area to begin with, and now the quarantine, these kids seem to have zero interactions with peers. Anti-vaxxers are also a very common thing around the Puget Sound area where Owen is (there was a measles outbreak just a couple years back). For being such a conservative, he sure picked a weird place to raise kids since the ENTIRE Puget Sound area is a leftist shithole. Hmmm, maybe it has more to do with the fact that there's no income tax in WA?

Convert Zealotry and Hypocrisy: A common phenomena with converts to any ideology (be it religion, intersectionality, conservatism, etc) is going full ham with it and putting on annoying zealotry as some kind of purity test. As someone who has had a consistent ideology (both politically and religiously) since birth as well as being good friends with converts, it mostly stems from their lack of depth of knowledge in the subject which leads them to go on tirades full of misinformation and hypocrisy. This is very clear with Owen who claims to be pro-life while condemning anyone who's had an abortion (something pro-lifers are against) despite his wife having had abortions according to some sources. He's said "Muslims are more Christian than Christians". He flip-flops between saying he's "biologically incapable of fear" while also blaming fear/stress/anxiety on most ills of his life. Obviously instances of his hypocrisy could be compiled into pages of pages of posts with his constant ranting, but it just boggles my mind with how clear the hypocrisy is that people are dumb enough to look up to him.

Bisexuality/Homosexuality: As a gay, this part is the thing that fascinates me most. While he's admitted to sleeping around and had a confirmed engagement to Christina Ricci, he's also admitted to spending time at gay bars on several occasions and "room whacking" (as a gay guy, I REALLY don't get why any straight man would do that). It also doesn't help that he has a father closeted most of his life and worked so intimately with obvious closet case Steven Crowder (super ultra Christian with a successful career and a stay-at-home wife who is certified hot but still has zero children). But when Owen first got fired by him and his chat asked him how gay Crowder was, he defended Steven by saying he helped him be more Christian, etc. But as time passed, he bought more and more into Crowder being obviously gay but provided scant personal details for some reason. Lastly, his streams are now full of constant denouncement of "sodomites" as well as notions of sucking dick constantly. So is he gay? I'd say no. Usually bisexuality is very rare for guys and often guys who say they're bisexual are full blown faggots or straight attention whores. But it's pretty obvious Owen has had sexual relations with both men and women. I think his idea of sexuality is super fucked up and often bisexual men I've met are super egotistical so it's almost like they'll fuck anyone who sucks up to them. But yeah.
