Wait....people pay to play Runescape now? Excuse me whilst I stitch the split in my sides.
 
Will this decrease Troonscapes subscribers by 41%? One can only hope. Ack, goes Fagex.

I've seen this pan out with other games. "We're going to remove microtransactions woo we're the good guys!" the nigger cattle start mindlessly clapping while the company rolls in a trojan horse that is far worse than the original microtransactions.

Anyone who played Overwatch will know what I mean. Everyone loved the idea of lootboxes being gone, then they ended up with paywalled chraracters and "season passes" which in my opinion are worse.

This is precisely why I just play my old SNES and Sega. Can't paywall my carts.
 
So I play RuneScape as a female character because I am female in real life, and ever since the pronoun update there’s a bug where the game keeps randomly setting my pronouns to he/him. I just think it’s funny that I’ve been ~*misgendered*~ more after their attempts to be inclusive than I ever was before the update in the first place.

Also I hope this bug happens to Hanannie.

I remember downloading OW2 on PSN because it was free but then I saw it was pay to have the newest heroes and that was the fastest I had ever closed a game and uninstalled, companies are so greedy now man.

Hell if Jagex willed they would charge you an additional character slot just so you don’t have to have millions of emails for different log ins for the different account builds you want to try.

If you put on your optomism hat, this could be seen as a sign that enough people have stopped paying memebership that they had to raise the prices so they could pay the bills from those still paying.

We had much expendable income for a number of decades now, but that's going to end soon thanks to Mutahars family members coming over in droves, under paying their employees and royally fucking up our economy. Also the gov knows it can tax the ever living shit out of unecessary goods and the docile dumb fuck alcoholics who make up this country won't even raise an eyebrow.
 
Without real evidence, it seems gagex is actually banning a lot more bots. The corpo owners probably pressured to suppliment that revenue loss, assuming those bots weren't just buying bonds through gp.
Honestly, in spite of the gay shit, which hasnt been pushed into any real content afaik, the games in a pretty good state.

Well then, one would assume from now on if they’re gonna force something down our throat they’ll time it accordingly to seasonal game modes like leagues and DMM

The reality where they add pronouns next to names I fear will be real if Mod Ash was already on board for misgendering when you can’t really misgender on purpose in current day patch, cause I mean just cause your TYPE B body has a beard I can’t just assume you’re a woman right?
