Are people jumping to a private server? I got on vidyascape but it's fairly dead.

Personally I’m a coper that’s still going on OSRS (this game holds autistics down like it’s nothing) but my line in the sand is if they add pronouns next to in game character names or something equally egregious (logically this would be the next step if they continue on this way).

But if what Null says is true about Jagex having an emergency meeting following plummeting sub count, they will never try a DEI update again, or if they try maybe they’ll actually poll it so it can get shit on in the polls (unlikely they don’t want the normies to realize they’ve been wrong about trannys and everyone they play with actually hates them)

This was something else. I can't find details so it's assumedly been scrubbed. Can't even find mention of it on Colonello's videos or whatever the fuck his name is.
The basic gist was on the house party world (world 331 or something? idk), there was a pmod soliciting nudes from little boys luring them off OSRS onto Kik or something. Players went nuts, Fagex apparently covered it up.

If I can find any posts about I'll link em.

First time ever hearing this so must’ve been scrubbed, and considering the article link in that Reddit thread goes nowhere too makes it more believable Jagex gets stuff scrubbed

Jagex is lucky that most people are too addicted to quit. Something bigger would need to happen like EoC.

God dammit. Why in the hell can't they just make their own shit instead of ruining things everybody else likes? They are like the mythical door to door salesman in tv shows and shit but allowed to run free and rampant and bothering everybody with no fucking repercussions. If I did even half the shit these fucks constantly do I'd either be on a list or a tree. I wish with every fiber of my being that I could rip Antonio Gramsci from time and force him to watch all of this shit and make him understand "You did this. This is your fault. This is why The italian prosecutors wanted to make your brain stop functioning for 20 years while you were in a cell."

tldr: My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

As stated previously, the woke just really hate the normal people being happy. To them, if there is ANYTHING that can make even a single non-woke person happy, then it must be corrupted/destroyed. If even a single non-woke person is happy, then the woke are somehow "oppressed".
 
I remember when "Recruitment Drive" was first introduced. People were chimping out about not wanting to play as a girl. To be fair when it first launched you couldn't get reimbursed for the money you spent on the makeover wizard, so it's good that Jagex changed that.

I saw this yesterday and it pretty much sums up the attitude of these people.

I don't know but changing all this stuff really does seem to be about making everyone else unhappy over "making people feel included" or any of that. It explains why so many of these people who don't even play these video games help drive these kinds of changes being forced into them.

In regards to Recruitment Drive the RS3 version still requires you to be a female to complete the challenge versus Sir Leye, while the OSRS version got a DEI update removing the reference below to the fact that Sir Leye “no man could defeat him”
