This is honestly what I presumed was happening, as whenever something "anti-queer" or otherwise opposed to the average Redditor's shitlib views happens, even in a niche community, the sub will be overrun by people from r/gamingcirclejerk or other commie shitholes who have never heard of RunEscape prior to yesterday but are suddenly VERY SERIOUSLY CONCERNED about the fate of the game now that the CEO has gone "alright guys let's put the fag shit on a shelf for a while and try to make actual content". Then it starts getting crossposted to r/subredditdrama or whatever and before too long the place is overrun with the most Reddited Redditors known to man for about two weeks and they'll all move on to the next thing eventually. That is, unless it's a concerted and organized circlejerking session, where they will remain until they've subverted the sub's original purpose, as has happened to r/PoliticalCompassMemes. That is if the people from r/AgainstHateSubreddits don't just spam CSAM to get the sub taken down entirely, which they have often done. RIP CringeAnarchy.

It took me a few tries, but I eventually found one. You want to look for ones that don't mention inclusive shit, focus on PvM or PvP specifically, and don't have "women" advertising/recruiting for them. Stay away from "social" clans. I didn't go down the streamer clan route, but that also strikes me as a bad idea. If you're willing to use the OSRS discord you can make a post so recruiters can contact you, if you do that the first thing you should do is ignore any "woman" avatars. Second is ignoring anyone with a discord nitro heavily personalized profile. Filtering all of those things out will probably lead you to more based clans.
