Why not?.
He makes money from home, has been his own boss for his entire adult life, and has thousands of people hanging on his every word. I’m not seeing the downside to his lifestyle.Because people propping up Chris and shielding him from repercussions, everytime he has to face the consequances of his actions/inaction or the normal responsibilities of adult life is exactly why Chris is the disfunctional mess that he is.
This is "helping" Chris in the same way that his parents paying people to be his friends and responding to every problem with "it's not your fault sweetie; they must just be evil people who hate autistics" was "helping" Chris.
Why does Chris need to face the repercussions for anything? He is an actual human being just like we are, not some fictional character (as much as he tends to blur that particular line), he does not merely exist to finish a story arc and fulfill whatever dramatic ending you (or anyone, myself included) may have in mind.Because people propping up Chris and shielding him from repercussions, everytime he has to face the consequances of his actions/inaction or the normal responsibilities of adult life is exactly why Chris is the disfunctional mess that he is.

For every fictional character there is a fandom of people that want to fuck it.@Null I had no idea there was a fucking Jiminy Cricket fandom. Thank you for Kiwifarms.
Null Adopts Chris SagaNot going to happen. I have a plan for that.
I've thought this over and considering the unimaginable ripple effect Chris has had on the Internet, I feel a strong obligation to make token efforts to help him out. This is one of those things. It's easy, takes no time at all, has a huge benefit for Chris and for us. Once Barb dies I will help him with the estate and figure out some way to salvage the property from debtors.

I'm almost positive that most of them became weens.Remember PewDiePie’s little movie about CWC? How many members of his little wannabe edgelord fanbase do you think saw that shit and took it upon themselves to become the next Clyde Cash?
I'm not pushing some moral "he deserves homelessness" angle. I'm saying that sustainable, non-crutch help/change will require change from chris, otherwise its pissing inthe wind, delaying the inevitable- and likely to exasperate Chris' existing drama, scammers, stress he can't deal with, etc.;Why does Chris need to face the repercussions for anything? I personally think that the available long term solutions won't work with Chris, not while he still has people constantly fucking with him, if you give/get him a job, someone will fuck with that, if you get him an apartment, someone will fuck with that too and so on.. Hell, even his personally-curated hugbox was completely fucked with, and with that his entire approach to reality. I agree with you that Chris needs someone to essentially and effectively micromanage his life for him, and I know that a lot of people will cite Rocky, but she was and still is clearly unequipped to deal with trolling, which is something that clearly won't be the case here..I'm not pushing some moral "he deserves homelessness" angle. IMO the closest to 'susainable' Chris is likely to get is some kind of state care or assisted living. Defi itely not the short-term-reprieve-but-long-term-extra-responsibility of managing that property on top of just managing his life which he already struggles with.

Rocky filmed that lego video in mcdonalds for him a few years ago. That was a huge help.Are you prepared for the possibility that it may be in vain? Rocky has been helping him for years with no improvement to his living situation.
What do you think Chris' biggest problems are?I'm saying that sustainable, non-crutch help/change will require change from chris, otherwise its pissing inthe wind, delaying the inevitable- and likely to exasperate Chris' existing drama, scammers, stress he can't deal with, etc.;

The right choices are the ones that work. And Chris' work, if not for the deluge of speds on the internet. Which null is handling with this thread.Yeah, Chris is living the dream and making all the right choices.
You mind linking that? I can't recall it at all..Rocky filmed that lego video in mcdonalds for him a few years ago. That was a huge help.
When people started REEing because of the orange part below, but to be honest, these days, nearly all Chris discussions devolve into that anyway, what with the resurgence of the Financhu Crisis and all, it's like our own version of Godwin's law.how did this turn into another "what will Chris do when Barb dies" thread

no hes just a moron who hasnt had any real hardship in his life and it would be nice for him to finally feel some.does he give tranx folx like you a baaaad name
Liens are automatic in Virginia when court judgments are rendered.What he really needs to do is declare bankruptcy. That would allow him to shed all that bullshit consumer credit. The other issue is whether they’re able to get a lien on the property. If they do, that runs with the property whoever inherits it and, in theory, could be foreclosed on. Still, foreclosing on it even if they could do that, might not be very practical and might cost more than it’s worth. Often, they’ll just wait around until you die, knowing they’ll get it.
The worst thing that could happen is for there to be a lien on the house before Barb dies, because then they could insist on the lien being satisfied before the house could be transferred to Chris, and force a sale. Chris would still get any equity remaining, but he’d have to move.
All this is speculative, since we don’t know exactly how much Barb has fucked over Chris, how much shit she has had him co-sign with her, and how much she’s encumbered the house with secured loans, i.e. ones they can easily foreclose on.
