I'm not gonna be sad for him, he's a piece of shit, but I will be sad for the end of a lot of entertainment for me. I'm honestly just surprised it took this long, he's had a rotting foot and leg for around 4 or 5 years now, some people get sepsis rapidly with shit like that. It's honestly a wonder of the human body it's taken him so long to have a major medical episode (outside of amputation) from it.

With his sepsis and the increased likelihood of amputation what are the chances they can get him healthy enough to go under the knife? Right now I assume the risk he dies on the table is so high that surgery won't touch him. Bit of a catch-22, he needs source of the infection surgically removed but both high dose vancomycin and anesthesia are likely to kill him out right.
Yea I've heard that most doctors outright refuse to operate on alcoholics with severe conditions like this because it's almost a guarantee that something will kill them, whether it be an interaction with the alcoholism or just the fragile health at this point. They don't want to risk a lawsuit.

So at minimum they give him medication to help fight off the infection but you can't drink on those meds, right? So I wonder what the next week is going to look like for Blade.. He might not stream for a bit
If he follows that at all. He could easily get baited with donos and I can see him claiming he knows better than the doctors. I honestly know I'm betting against Blade's plot armor, but this is looking pretty grim. If he doesn't die in the hospital he most likely will by not following any medical orders, as he is known to do. Sepsis, even when treated properly, has a very high mortality rate.

From a callous and cost effective standpoint the hospital will want to get him healthy enough to wake up knowing he will check himself out against medical advice. Vegas hospitals are probably well practiced in dealing with end stage addicts.

he won't be able to walk or might have brain damage
How will we notice the difference?

I assume it's out of the question to go frontier style and give him a slug of whiskey then saw his shit off un-medicated?

On a generational run

He seems a bit more actively (passively ?) suicidal this binge

Idk. I’m remembering the hotel streams from a couple or few years back and the way it was obvious the addiction was in full control. Something seems different. It seems like he just wants to die now
