I guess the cycle is gonna be a weekly litty stream where it becomes a disaster off camera followed by a week of radio silence until the next drinking stream. Repeat until Blade finds more permanent housing.

Is this what he means by “kickin it?”. Kinda weird, dood.
This has been the cycle for the whole year. It's hard to see where permanent housing comes from. Neither of them have any money, and you'd have to assume if there was any government assistance available they'd take it.. which means there isn't.

I think, and Bryan kind of alluded to this on Friday, he is just waiting for Peggy to die so he can go to Vegas.

The closest thing Blade's going to get for permanent housing is a tent or heavy duty cardboard box. I think the old folk's home was government-assisted in some way and they fucked it up, so probably no more government housing in WA for the foreseeable future. She'll die homeless: her death certificate will have her address listed as "indigent" or as whatever the closest roach motel is.

Something else Blade probably hasn't even thought of, when Peggy dies, how is Brian going to bury/cremate her, and still make it to Vegas? Burial/cremation isn't cheap and I doubt Blade's sibling(s) will help pay for it. Besides, moving (especially between states) is fucking expensive. I guess he'll "figguritout." Even if he makes it to Vegas, he's going to be living in the tunnels this time next year.

there's absolutely no way a man who drank heavily all his adult life (remember the RV trips?) could just decide that enough is enough and drink only on weekends. He DOESN'T have this self control.
He doesn't have self control to not drink this much.

He drinks this much every day, there is no reasonable and rational differences in it.

Also, this is a really stupid conversation.

Believe he doesn't because you think he would die otherwise, I don't care.

Edit to add: I snapped and replied a page before and apparently we have moved on.

If someone truly unable to safely care for themself gets picked up by an ambulance, assessed in an ED and admitted to a hospital, it starts a process that can be summarized as "you touched them last; it's your problem."

Someone can be living on the street, or in their house that they own but they haven't paid any bills in a few years because they're more and more demented, finally take that naked walk down the street or have a heart attack buying groceries. EMS, ED, hospital, then they get assessed for discharge planning and it's in writing that back to their cardboard box or hoarder home is an unsafe discharge, even if they're exactly at the (non-)functional level that they were before, because now we know. If they're mentally competent and can physically get out the door with or without friends helping, that's one thing--people are allowed to make bad decisions--but if they're hemiplegic now or they failed the cognitive assessment, they can never go home (alone) again.

When a hospital inpatient is stable at a long term care level of need, it becomes the case managers' job to figure it out, and they're motivated.

Of course someone can easily die in a ditch or in a motel before they become (documented as) incompetent. And there are inpatients who end up blocking a bed for a year until some nursing home('s liability insurance) accepts that they aren't physically able to do meth and domestic violence any more and their scumbag friends haven't talked to them since they were admitted. It's really hard to say "never."

He won't. She'll sit in the morgue freezer with Jane/John Does and other unclaimed bodies until storage issues occur and then she'll be cremated along with several dozen other bodies.

After she's cremated the coroner's office will make one final attempt to contact Blade (which he'll ignore either because he doesn't give a fuck or he's also in the morgue) and then they'll just throw away her ashes.

And the whole time he will think that the government has fully taken care of a dignified burial already. He'll probably even say so on streams.

He might give a mailing address or pick them up in a fit of competence, then have a little box of shame until he gets evicted or someone pays him to do a shot with her ashes in it.

I don't think Blade will give a shit about burial/funeral/etc. He'll leave her wherever she is when she passes and just bail out. If he's in a decent state of mind he might call someone to let them know about the body, but that's it.

Vegas tunnel streams would probably be decent content, I imagine there's no Internet/cell service down there though.

Some Tophiachu shit.

This happened to another drunk we know, Ethan Oliver Ralph.

I can't remember the exact location of his mom's ashes right now, but I think they're being held for ransom in the garage of a home in Western New York State by a man who hates Ralph and hates his late mom.

So, I think your prediction is correct.
