Hospital bills are so hyper-inflated I have long since stopped giving even half a rat's ass or a Standard Metric Fuck about people skipping out on their ER visit bills. Yeah yeah I know it's "the insurance companies'" fault, blah blah. Bill what you're worth (and what it actually cost) and sue when they deny, instead of this ridiculous bullshit where we invoice people $150 for an OTC-sized dose of off-brand Tylenol and $40,000 for a six-hour stay in an uncomfortable bed with an EKG machine strapped to them (which is never read or checked) prior to being told "take it easy for a couple days and call your doctor if it happens again".Medical bill collectors must hate Blade though. There’s no way he paid for the leg draining he got in Missouri.
It should tell you something that if you talk to a hospital after receiving such a bill and ask "how the fuck am I ever gonna pay this?!?!" they'll instantly offer you a cash payment plan that cuts it down to 20% (or less) the original invoice amount and considers it paid if you actually make all the payments. It's that inflated.
Fuck 'em.
Oh god no dude, don't do that. Visit Vegas. Don't live there. It sucks the locals dry and picks their bones clean. It's "Anytown, Arizona, but worse, plus gambling" anywhere you go when you stray off-strip.Said he’s thinking of moving to Vegas.
