OnlyFans is getting out of the pornography business.

The company will prohibit users from posting any sexually explicit conduct, starting in October. Creators will still be allowed to post nude photos and videos, provided they're consistent with OnlyFans' policy, the company said Thursday.

The changes are needed because of mounting pressure from banking partners and payment providers, according to the company.

Oh Jesus, it's going to go back to the pre-Only Fans days.

Twitter is going to flooded again with 'send amazon gift card plz' posts.

Does nobody in authority understand the concept of containment?
How does one properly contain underage sex trafficking? I mean, if I owned a strip club and didn't do my due diligence vetting the contract dancers I'd be in big trouble right? Probably get shut down and fined and maybe jail. Well these online sites have much worse containment than that.

We have an established containment for this kinda thing. The titty bar. All the desperate weirdos in one spot with one guy in charge and sheriffs deputies keeping tabs on it. It isn't a perfect system but it's a lot better than the freewheeling internet amateur porn jurisdictional nightmare Onlyfans is.

Oh no, this means I have no choice but to jerk off to free professionally-produced hardcore porn in HD found elsewhere on the internet! How will I ever cope with no longer having the privilege of paying $19.99 a month to see 10-second potato quality vertical aspect ratio videos of girls twerking in a thong with Snapchat filters!?

I have mixed feelings about this thot audit. On one hand, I'm amused by hoes mad (x24) on Twitter being forced to reckon with their poor financial decisions that could've been mitigated with a bit of saving.

On the other hand, It makes me suspicious when big financial institutions push around industries like this. They've pulled this shit before with the aptly named Operation Choke Point. Yes some of these industries are fraudulent and/or risky but I can't help but feel like it flirts too closely with abuse of power and bypassing due process. I'm probably just some paranoid schizo though

I was confused a few weeks ago when this car YouTuber announced he was setting up an OnlyFans to collect BMWs. Wonder if they were sponsoring him? He deleted it almost immediately, though, due fan backlash. Or said he did, the page is still there. Video should start where he discusses it.

I deleted my Onlyfans already, due to overwhelmingly negative response from my subscribers. I thought it would be a fun/funny way to interact with my fans and show some behind the scenes stuff, but it seems most people thought it more like a money grab, which wasn't my primary intention.

How the hell did OnlyFans become so dominant anyway?
I'm willing to bet OnlyFans' increased popularity coincides with Tumblr enforcing its own ban on nudes and lewds. All of the Tumblr e-thots that didn't ragequit the site in response to that policy instead set up an OnlyFans account and promoted links to the latter. It will be interesting to see what they do in response.

To make a long story short the thots will talk with their donators and this creates a similar feeling to having a gf to them.
I'm sure betacucks and paypigs will simply move to other sites with the same interactivity such as MFC. In that regard, little if anything will change.

This is good for popcorn.
Totally agree. Just watch out for the salt content. :agree:

People universally aren't loyal to pornography websites, the website is meaningless to them only the content matters. When pornhub went to verified users only site traffic plummeted for this reason.

While thots being patrolled is humorous, this is bad news to me overall. Payment processors are continuing their authoritarian streak. The same payment processors that continue to fuck Null over. I'd rather they had zero power like this. Even if it fuels degeneracy. And no, I don't think banning porn monetization with legislature is a good idea either. That would require fucking up the current internet laws and would probably lead to a slippery-slope banning sites like KF and 4chan along with it.
