OnlyFans is getting out of the pornography business.

The company will prohibit users from posting any sexually explicit conduct, starting in October. Creators will still be allowed to post nude photos and videos, provided they're consistent with OnlyFans' policy, the company said Thursday.

The changes are needed because of mounting pressure from banking partners and payment providers, according to the company.

The thing is that banks don’t want to deal with the porn money, which seems to be the reason they’re banning porn

You would be giving away atleaast 5 years to the coom demons though, might be a bit of a deal with the devil. But man that money might just be worth it, unless they backpaddel in a week
 
It was obvious this was going to happen sooner or later after payment processors nuked Pornhub's businesses model, getting out now is better than waiting until they get the same treatment and can't salvage anything.

But still if i were an exec there id ride it until its dead as fuck, then i can still get "family friendly" or whatever. Pornhub seems to be doing fine after that ruffle they had with mastercard.
 
My current gacha addiction updated with a rerun of an event I haven't done and thots got patrolled. All in all, this has been a good day.

Will be fun to see how it goes for Onlyfans and the whores. Hopefully it be miserable for both.

it had an air of legitimacy from being not only porn work like camgirl sites. some people really just do want racy pin-ups of their favorite streamer's or cosplayer's booba.

What they done would make sense if there was some kind of upcoming regulation or some other outside factor that would kill the site in its current form. Instead they've chosen to lose a lot of content creators but preserve the OnlyFans name which has fairly decent brand name recognition with normies, so they could possibly pivot to something new.

This video goes into the rise of OnlyFans and specifically why it took off.
To make a long story short the thots will talk with their donators and this creates a similar feeling to having a gf to them. Which makes them want to keep donating as opposed to donating once and then leaving. It essentially preys on men that have never had relationships with women and are desperate to have one.

A lot of established porn actresses will also make OnlyFans accounts as a really convenient paywall because previously they also had to deal with porn distribution companies that would take a massive cut of whatever they made.

Nothing in and of itself, however there's too much chance that some of the girls on there are 17 or 16 (or younger), and THAT'S when it gets messy.

Instead of taking any risks at all, best to just wash their hands of everything. Also this way, they aren't "discriminating" for age or something stupid.
