I know a bunch of other people on YouTube mentioned it, but Animators get royally fucked on that platform for whatever reason.

Also it's more work to get noticed for ACTUAL talent these days since there's a bajillion more creators to compete with than it was a long time ago. You need to be REALLY lucky and just make that one thing someone will like so much they share it with other people until it blows up in popularity.

He just gave Chris a heads-up before he starts the Helter Skelter. A true monster.
Shitposting aside: The channel is not the main gig of the boys and they have other stuff to do. And Chris deserves fucking around in Ireland and hanging out with Niall. Would be my guess.

It's actually kind of smart he isn't giving many updates on Bowlbo. Shows he really learns from others' mistakes, especially past mistakes of Indi-devs sharing too much and too frequently, actions that came to bite them down the road. Sucks for us but hey, "it'll be out when it's out"

The short of it is that youtube used to reward you for the total number of views, rather than the total amount of time watched.
This rewards complete dogshit low-effort content that fill space like oneyplays, and heavily penalizes content that takes a shitton of effort, like oneycartoons.
