The Decuplets and Napoleon have the same birthday? ... wonder if there's a connection...
Trying to connect Big Mom's kids birth's with other events is probably a path to madness..like Mel Gibson's Conspiracy Theory madness.
big mom had sex with the hat/sword and was too fat to realize she was pregnant

I am still not entirely convinced that Luffy is going to have a "full" fight with Kaido.

Big Mom 100% is going to have to be smacked down, but Kaido has a set of personality quirks that say to me "This guy can be turned." and before anyone says anything about "but he has done horrible things."

Luffy allied with Crocodile.

...like what?

His very massive personality shift between him being drunk and him being sober, especially in the Anime. In the episode that came out last week we saw him kill underlings just for pointing out his alcoholism, but once he is sober he actively warns his underlings to be careful with Luffy even when Luffy is KO'd. There is also the fact when he is drunk he shows up as a massive showing, and blows up Oden's castle on a whim in an over the top way..but after Luffy punches him Sober..he very quickly, efficiently one shots Luffy.

Then he just fucks off, saying he is going to get completely hammered again, not in a "I can handle my booze I promise I am not an alcoholic piss off way." but in a "I want to purposefully kill all everything I am feeling way."

it is strange to me and makes me think we are getting a twist with Kaido somewhere.

Indigo of the Gold Lion Pirates has his birthday today. Chapter 0 was included in Blue Deep.

Something completely unpredictable is going to happen that will throw a big enough wrench in the battle to allow the alliance to emerge victorious because there's no way they can take down Kaido, let alone both him and Mom. I feel the most likely scenario is the entrance of a 3rd party strong enough to tip the scales. The most obvious answer would be Shanks whose true motives are still completely unknown (he's not out there to become King and seems to spend most of his time acting as a mediator between other pirates and the Navy.). Plus we still don't know who he went to see the old men for. Aokiji is definitely a longshot but we've no idea what his goals are or where he is (since we didn't see him when Moria attacked Fullalead or whatever it's called). Or there's some other heavy hitter impossible to predict that's going to crash this party, who knows.

The only other scenario I can see happening would be Kaido and BM turning on each other and Luffy managing to defeat the wounded victor.

Shanks showing up to bail Luffy out would feel cheap though, and honestly does Luffy need to punch both Kaido and Big Mom into the dirt to "prove" that he is on their level. I generally expect that The Strawhats will team up to defeat Big Mom..while Luffy 1v1s Kaido and does well enough to earn the guys respect.

PS : Shank's motivation is to just have a good time, He can't do anything with Raftel since he is not a D..but he knows the secret and that gives him a great deal of leverage..such as being able to pop in on the Celestial Dragons and say Hi..because the know he could just let the secret slip and cause everything to fall into chaos.

3rd party, 3rd party... This is a shot in the dark, but what about Kidd? He's obviously not Emperor-level, but he's said to be vicious and powerful. We haven't seen him since the breakout, and he's certainly got a bone to pick with Kaidou.

Part of me thinks this happening wouldn't be due to a group/combatant/whatever entering the fray (the most likely candidate for this IMO being the World Government or the Navy, the former to protect their interests and status quo, the latter because Akainu decided to shift his priorities for whatever reason).

I think it'd be a bit more likely that the "3rd party" would actually be another battle or something going down-- like all the shit going down in the rest of the world (the Navy going after the Seven Warlords of the Sea, whatever went down in Alabasta, the Blackbeard Pirates on the move, the Revolutionaries' response to whatever happened at the Reverie, etc) spilling over into Wano from the outside (whether it be literally or by information trickling in and piquing interest). That might fuck shit up enough to segue into the worldwide war.

I'm also very much looking forward to the next intermission, we might get some spaces filled in after Act 3 gives us a hint to what the One Piece is.

He's not on their level yet though. It took everything he had to take down Katakuri and he was just Mom's henchman. We saw how close he is to Kaido's level when he went Gear 4 and got blown out in one shot. And he's already got the man's respect, it's what kept Kaido from killing him outright then and there and sending him to prison in the hopes of eventually recruiting him. He's gotten more powerful from the old man's training but it's gonna take a lot more than that to take on Kaido, especially in a straight one on one. We're currently seeing firsthand just how strong Oden is, being able to trade blows with a prime-age Whitebeard and all he managed was a single scar on Kaido's body.

Kaido plus his crew has the highest bounty in the world. If the Straw Hats succeeded in taking them and Mom down with just the small alliance of Law, Minks and samurai that would make them the strongest crew in the world and what's left to threaten them at that point?

As for having a good time, that's Hawkeye. We saw that when he fucked with Don Krieg for shits and giggles (and used a butter knife to take down Zolo). Shanks goes out of his way to play peacekeeper, from trying to keep Ace from going after Blackbeard to stopping the Paramount War which I doubt he'd bother doing all that if all he cared about was having fun.

Obviously Kidd is likely to join the alliance but he's Luffy's level strength-wise which is definitely not gonna be enough to tip the scales against one (let alone two) emperors.

So far the Navy has expressed desire to stay out of it (due to the timeframe with the Reverie) so it's hard to see them crashing the party. And given Wano's nature as a closed-off isolationist island I don't think it'd find itself involved in any major worldwide conflict unless it becomes a target for whatever reason. All I know for sure is something completely out of left field is gonna happen that shifts the entire battle on its head. It's just impossible to guess at what.

Well he is going to have to be, and be that way..quite frankly yesterday. We got two or three arcs yet before Raftel, He is gonna go to Elbaf, and he is gonna get the 4th Road Glyph. Next chapter we are going to see some of Rodger in his prime and we are gonna learn a bit about Raftel and One Piece. I don't buy the "5 Years left" meme but we are going into end. It would not be the first time that Luffy got his rear end handed to him and then won round 2.

There is a difference between thinking he is strong enough to be an underling and considering someone an equal.

Blackbeard and the World Government, those are the final bosses.

Edit : Also Shanks.
