I think what Blackbeard has his eyes set on acquiring is the Mera Mera No Mi./SPOILER]
 
Welp, I just purchased online the first box-set (the ones that come in sweet treasure chests). I'm well on my way to now having physical copies in my possession. The color scans are good and all, but I honestly do prefer physical copies, and my brothers haven't exactly been purchasing more volumes for themselves as much as they were oh-so-super supportive of me getting into the series and they promised to get back on track to getting themselves more copies. But I can't rely on them for more One Piece, gotta sail solo lol.

...but I legit have nooooo idea where I'm going to put this now that I look at my room and cramped bookshelf and wonder what I'm going to do with all the junk that collects in my room. I also have no idea how heavy this is going to be. I are smart! Take my bank account away from me, Nami!

Nah, cause I doubt Sabo is actually dead. I could imagine Kuma being the one who died as mercy kill since his mind was erased. I really think it is something related to 1 of the 2 ancient weapons that isn't Shirahoshi. Those make a bit more sense than just the Mera Mera with random spawn point, especially if it's Pluton.

If so, I could easily see Franky having committed those blueprints to memory after having them all those years as a hidden trump card if any are revived.

Two minor characters have their birthdays today: Umit, a shipping magnate who attended the Tea Party, and Hanger, the guy at the fancy clothes shop in Loguetown where Nami tried on a bunch of clothes but bought none of them.

I was talking about the manga box-set, which is roughly $185 retail each, but I bought it off of Amazon, which cut the prices. It says on Viz's site prices may vary depending on where you get it. (I ordered the second set just a few hours ago since it was listed at $98, and the price jumped up to $104 sometime from then to now--meanwhile I had paid a bit more for the first set. So yeah, varies.)

I dunno about the anime box-sets outside of the voyage collections, though. My brother over the weekend bought from Wal-Mart the 20th anniversary one with the first four of the collection for like $104, he said (which he only bought because it came with a T-shirt). But just going off of Amazon alone, buying the collections as a bundle of four or so will push you into the 100-dollars range, but each volume seems to be varying at prices with 21 bucks being the average.

The collections thus far goes up to episode 563 at Collection 23, which was released November of last year.

And a moment of silence for your DVD collection and place of residence.

Thinking about the last two chapters and all the theories and speculation related to them, I wonder if that panel of Law at the act 2 ending, after having been freed by who we may assume is X. Drake, is not him finding out who the alliance traitor is, but of him having found out about the pirate alliance that could fuck the whole rebellion into oblivion. I mean it would make sense given the circumstances at that moment.

Haha, congratulations man! I made the huge mistake of buying all three sets at once, and my room is already filled with so much crap that I had to put them in storage for the time being. I used to own volumes 1-16 back as a wee lad but I unfortunately had to sell them during college (along with a bunch of other manga) to make ends meet. I ended up rebuying at least 60% of what I owned since then so it's not bothering me too much these days.

Now if only Viz would release ones for HxH. Losing those probably stung the most for me.
 
Elizabello's tactician Dagama and Kuja pirate Cosmos have their birthdays today. No birthdays tomorrow, though.
