Ah, shit, yeah. That's a good point. Though the Straw Hats haven't even been there a day yet. Maybe if they try to stay longer he'll bring it up. Could be a multiple of three or something. The Straw Hats having a missing three days isn't so bad. A missing three weeks or something, though, is another story.Egregious for Saul to not bring this up ASAP because it is Incredibly important information that the Strawhats NEED to fucking know.
No clue. The only real question is if the final war would be over and done with before Laugh Tale is reached, since Roger said he was “too early” for the “promised time” to use what he saw, learned, and laughed at. and considering that he has the same unspoken dream as Luffy, that has to be something world changing, profound, simple, and maybe even stupid, all rolled into one.As good of a discussion as this has been, what arcs do think are next? I definitely think that Lodestar/Roadstar is going to happen and be the location of the big Yonko Battle Royale, which will extend to Laughtale/Raftel where the final showdown between the Straw Hats and Blackbeard will occur, with the Final War at Marie Jeouse occuring after.
Hasn’t that been the whole series though, just under the surface? With the only difference being how it’s not just a treasure, but increasingly something the government had censored for a reason? It'd be a nice twist if there was a huge scramble for the One Piece while the Straw Hats were busy in Elbaph.
Whitebeard straight up told us, that the final war won't happen until the One Piece is found, and he's an actual trustworthy character in the story speaking directly for Oda, so I'm inclined to believe him on this matter. But anyways, I think that we still have Lodestar, Laughtale, Marie Geoise/Final War, and Epilogue left, but hopefully the Moon and the Emerald City can be squeezed in there somewhere. No clue. Really? Last I remember, he just said that the WG fears the final war, engulfing the world, and what will happen when the treasure is found (I’m assuming he means in a metaphorical sense), but there’s no real point of a timeline or how things go from Point A to Point B.Whitebeard straight up told us, that the final war won't happen until the One Piece is found, and he's an actual trustworthy character in the story speaking directly for Oda, so I'm inclined to believe him on this matter. I mean not really. No one in the story has made any serious moves to actually get the One Piece thus far outside of the Straw Hats. Kaido and Big Mom have been sitting on their asses for years, not accomplishing anything outside of their one piece of the puzzle. When I say a scramble, I mean a scramble, like all the pieces are moving full force, no more biding time, no more gathering strength, balls to the wall going for it from all sides.Hasn’t that been the whole series though, just under the surface? To be fair, Poseidon was not born yet. Joy Boy was friends with the Fishmen/Mermen. Shirahoshi has to have been crucial to the plan.No clue. Predicting Oda’s actions at this point is a bit of a gamble.
Shanks approached the Planets and went after Kid (for the Poneglyphs) and Bartolomeo for sending a message. Also, how can they scramble? They need someone who can read Poneglyphs (BM has Pudding who has not unlocked the ability and Kaidou has nobody) and those are in short supply. There was nothing they could do BUT bide time. I think you forgot what makes Robin special and valuable. It is her ability to learn where Laugh Tale is in the first place. Otherwise, it is a fool's errant. Robin is the only one that makes it so that the Straw Hats are actually close to finding the One Piece. How are others supposed to find it without someone like her?I mean not really. It's well known that Big Mom and Kaido have Poneglyphs in their territories, so other factions going to Wano and Totto Land would be a start, raiding them for the pieces of the puzzle. Even if no one else can read them, having the only maps to the One Piece is still extremely important. I mean it's the same logic of how Luffy and the crew finding the One Piece will start some big war. Like where is it going to be? Here is the thing though: Going into their territory is suicidal considering the obstacles that litter it such as surveillance and mysterious weather. You will be in trouble before you even run into enemies. And for what? A clue you cannot even read? For many it is not worth the trouble. Even other Emperors do not attack each other often. Doing so will result in a bloody battle that will make one an easy prey. There are good reasons as to why many either wait for a lucky break or outright abandon the search for the treasure. It's well known that Big Mom and Kaido have Poneglyphs in their territories, so other factions going to Wano and Totto Land would be a start, raiding them for the pieces of the puzzle. I'd consider Big Mom and Kaido being either dead or severely injured to be a pretty big lucky break. Hell, Kaido's forces are basically gone at this point and aren't organized at all. I'm just saying, if this time dilation did happen and it turned out not much happened anyway, it'd be a real shame. Here is the thing though: Going into their territory is suicidal considering the obstacles that litter it such as surveillance and mysterious weather. Yeah, doesn't seem like there's much left that there can be, unless there's a surprise island, but I doubt it. One thing I find to be a real shame post-timeskip is that aside from Punk Hazard and Egghead, we always knew where the Straw Hats were going next before they left their current island. It feels so...streamlined. Four arcs in a row where it was blatantly told to us where the Straw Hats were going next, it's not very adventurous.1. Elbaf, 2. Lodestar, 3. Laughtale, 4. Marie Geoise 5. Epilogue Trip
I wouldn't be surprised if Oda decides to throw in some curveballs, like the Moon and the Emerald City, but honestly, I think that Post Time Skip is pretty good actually. Return to Sabaody, Fishman Island, Punk Hazard, Dressrosa, Zou, Whole Cake Island, Reverie, Wano, Egghead, Elbaf, Lodestar, Laughtale, Marie Geoise, and Epilogue Trip is a pretty good run in it of itself.Yeah, doesn't seem like there's much left that there can be, unless there's a surprise island, but I doubt it. There is also the fact that Roger was terminally ill and even if he wanted to do something with what he learned what could he really do? Starting a War when you have CancerAids and just expecting people to take up the cause after you are dead is kind of a MASSIVE dick move.Roger said he was “too early” for the “promised time” to use what he saw, learned, and laughed at. and considering that he has the same unspoken dream as Luffy, that has to be something world changing, profound, simple, and maybe even stupid, all rolled into one.
That is because they couldn't.Kaido and Big Mom have been sitting on their asses for years, not accomplishing anything outside of their one piece of the puzzle
I assume that AFTER they died there are movements. Still, even without the strongest members, anyone but a Supernova level crew will lose. Katakuri is still around and so are the surveillance slugs and the Sweet Commanders. Also, do not forget the Candy Sea that freezes at night. Totto Land is invulnerable to most threats outside the Yonko (BB invaded and captured Pudding) and other special groups such as Germa 66. As for Kaidou's lands, many might be considered as Wano-ruled now. Kaidou's heir is loyal to Wano after all. And since Wano is under the Straw Hats, they might be under their protection in a roundabout way. And let us not forget that Wano is hard to invade due to its geography. They might be able to sent elites upstream but the rest of the fleet are going to be sitting ducks. The Planets could do it but they probably do not want to rock the boat and make too many public appearances (and screw ups as those come with a death sentence).I'd consider Big Mom and Kaido being either dead or severely injured to be a pretty big lucky break. FTFYBM has Pudding who has not unlocked the ability and has been taken hostage by Blackbeard

that’s one way to approach it, but from what I remember, the illness was what made Roger adamant of doing “one last trip”. But that was really it. Meanwhile, the “too early” part seemed to be the only thing stopping Roger from doing anything after finding the treasure, besides turning himself in and be executed, though the Netflix series had the first scene be that execution, and it showed Roger had a hidden agenda of some kind, beyond just saying is treasure was out there. That may have always been his play, and the live action just made it clearer. There is also the fact that Roger was terminally ill and even if he wanted to do something with what he learned what could he really do? I still wonder what the Roger Pirates found out on that island to make them react the way they did and still do to this day. It can't be a coincidence that their more notable members (Crocus, Rayleigh, and Gaban), are all stationed at key points within the Grand Line, meanwhile the likes of Shanks and Buggy simply fuck around in the East Blue, i.e., the home of their captain, Roger. I honestly believe that there's some grander conspiracy here at work, whatever that is, I leave that up to you to explain.that’s one way to approach it, but from what I remember, the illness was what made Roger adamant of doing “one last trip”.
