Lodestar is a space elevator, and Raftel is the name of the moon. For what is a moon, but an island in space?

Doesn't that kind of ruin it though? It just being a treasure hunt that turns into so much more it part of the fun. At least for me.that’s one way to approach it, but from what I remember, the illness was what made Roger adamant of doing “one last trip”. But that was really it. Meanwhile, the “too early” part seemed to be the only thing stopping Roger from doing anything after finding the treasure, besides turning himself in and be executed, though the Netflix series had the first scene be that execution, and it showed Roger had a hidden agenda of some kind, beyond just saying is treasure was out there. That may have always been his play, and the live action just made it clearer.
It is both, Roger played the World Government, he set off a Treasure Hunt for the one Treasure Imu never wanted anyone to ever find.Doesn't that kind of ruin it though? It just being a treasure hunt that turns into so much more it part of the fun. At least for me.
Makes you wonder when the shift from treasure hunt to “LOTR tier worldbuilding with pirates” happened in earnest.Doesn't that kind of ruin it though? It just being a treasure hunt that turns into so much more it part of the fun. At least for me.

Before he was even attempting to get published. While there are a lot of elements that have been added during his serialization, Oda has still had plans for a lot of the overarching background details from the outset.Skypiea to Enies Lobby
I would rather have LOTR-tier worldbuilding than absolute dogshit filler-reliant worldbuilding like Naruto's, or even worse, Jujutsu Kaisen's.Before he was even attempting to get published. Senor Pink is a more tragic character than most of Narucuck's cast. Here’s the secret to world building that gets ignored these days: no one’s going to give a shit about your world if they don’t care about anyone in it. Tolkien worked well because he spends a chapter at the start of his books endearing you to someone. Oda works well because he can endear a character to you for the dumbest of reasons before hammering it home with a tragic backstory.
HES SO HARD BOILED.Senor Pink is a more tragic character than most of Narucuck's cast.
I think the context for that is a lot of the times, it's because he's freeing folks from oppression, and instead he just wants to chill and be free. Luffy straight up asked to not be named as the person who saved and freed Wano, so that honor is credited to the mythical Joy Boy (Luffy in Gear 5).The only preachiness I've gotten from Luffy is his "I'm a pirate, not a hero", bullshit during Fishman Island, despite the absolute MOUNTAINS of evidence proving otherwise both before and after.
Naruto acted so fucking ANNOYING with the whole "DoNt't KiLl Sasuke!!!!" shit I wanted to break his jawless head in already.I think the context for that is a lot of the times, it's because he's freeing folks from oppression, and instead he just wants to chill and be free. The problem with that is that there is no pushback. Those who do get the "Talk-no-Jutsu" treatment either agree in the end (Nagato) or are insane (Sasuke). There is no one to provide counterpoints in a logical manner. "What if Sasuke ends up killing someone a Kage cares about and that threatens war? Would you still demand he get away?" Naruto is lucky that the only people he killed are Itachi (who was undercover) and Danzo (FUCK DANZO). If we were realistic, Sasuke crippling the Raikage should have been the final nail in the coffin. He is lucky everyone was asleep during his NWO speech.Naruto acted so fucking ANNOYING with the whole "DoNt't KiLl Sasuke!!!!" shit I wanted to break his jawless head in already.
I hated the Infinite Tsukoyomi as well, took away everyone's agency who wasn't Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura (LOL), Kakashi, and Obito (OMEGA LUL)The problem with that is that there is no pushback. I think ultimately that Luffy's desire to not be seen as a "Hero" stems from the fact that he doesn't want to feel responsible for "Having" to save people. He wants the choice to tell someone to fuck off. If Momo were unwilling to speak up in Zou I am 100% certain that Luffy would have told the Samurai to fuck off because their leader is a coward and isn't willing to stand up for himself.I think the context for that is a lot of the times, it's because he's freeing folks from oppression, and instead he just wants to chill and be free
And yet he gave a SH flag to Wano with the instruction of “raise it, and we’re on our way to help.”I think ultimately that Luffy's desire to not be seen as a "Hero" stems from the fact that he doesn't want to feel responsible for "Having" to save people. Momo did a lot of growing up by then even if he still has a long way to go. Luffy has friends in Wano. He might not go out of his way to help every stranger but for a friend he will arrive at tachyon speed. And yet he gave a SH flag to Wano with the instruction of “raise it, and we’re on our way to help.”
Yes because Momo proved himself. And yet he gave a SH flag to Wano with the instruction of “raise it, and we’re on our way to help.”
