Fair, but the poster merely made an example of an archetype of evil women. He probably did no disqualify other types of evil women.
I didn’t even mention women. I was talking about having a character of importance that willingly sided with the bad guys. Anyone important and it’s always ‘i’m actually good please help’

Gunko before reveal of knowing Brook and being mind controlled felt more interesting
I find it lame that Elbaf was hyped up so much and it just serves as a backdrop for characters almost completely unrelated to it
Those characters seem to be the people that caused all the current problems on Elbaf.

Hawkins and Kuzan come to mind. And of course, as it was mentioned, York. Caesar is also evil even if he is self-servingly siding with the SHs. There are more but these come to mind for now.

But what problems? Something weird happened with Loki and Harald, which Loki was blamed for but otherwise things seem mostly fine. I'll be disappointed if the conclusion is Harald wasn't obeying completely so he got mind controlled, and don't see much of Elbaf

We don’t know yet. There’s got to be more issues than the former king dies, there always is. And we clearly aren’t close to done with the arc.

‘Remember the Straw Hats are regarded as terrorists’

Because they are. Luffy broke into two Goverment facilites and destroyed them entirely because he was friends with the people being held there.

Robin helped destroy an entire island for her own greed. Ace, son of the dude that caused all the problems in the last 20 years and second in lime to the current best pirate. Whose capture led said Pirates to try and take out all the Marines which would have left 99% of the world with no defence.

People really do forget and I wish that Luffy is an outlier and 99% of Pirates will pillage, rape and murder. And even the good Pirates have done the first and last ones.

And even then Luffy will destroy your entire country on a ehim if he wants and his crew will back him.

It says something when the only way to make the Pirates good is having them ruled by actual demonic entities.

I hope Oda comes up with a very good reason why Imu hasn’t just been doing this from the start
Wasn’t it established that Imu had only stepped in because the God’s Knights were taking too long? Maybe Imu just had competent minions all this time so there was no need to step in. That or there’s something at play akin to why Imu stays in the castle all day. That’s what I’m assuming.

Let us not even go to all of that.

Luffy DECLARED WAR ON THE GOVERNMENT.

It’s always like that, side villain/character that nobody cared about becomes main character for the arc overshadowing any of the straw hats. and than you never hear from them after the arc ends until blackbeard kidnaps them and that’s the only time you actually want to see what happens.

It wasnt even that, it was to shock some sense into that friend.
Either way, that “declaring war against the world” was just something that was done without realizing the ramifications until Luffy was told about them. Completely in line with the running theme of “Luffy changes the world without knowing or giving a shit.”

If that’s the case, I wonder if you can make a roster of characters slated to come back and assemble like the Avengers against Thanos considering we’ve got a prophecy of the sun god (Luffy) leading a massive force against a giant monster.

I kinda think he knew, else telling Usopp to do it was kind of pointless, and he didnt react to being told with "Oh well" he told Spandam "Bring it"

I think that moment was one of Luffy's smartest moments. Robin was kind of being short sighted with her worries. Luffy is aiming to be pirate king is going to bring him in conflict with all the powers that Robin is worried about coming after the strawhats at some point eventually.

Point taken. I’m probably seeing things in too big a picture. You see it as Luffy challenging those who’d come after him in his quest to become king of the pirates, while the story and wider meta is working to show how Luffy is what Whitebeard said the government is afraid of: a man carrying the weight of history challenging the world to a fight.

And now we’re waiting to see what Luffy will do should he wake up to Imu wrecking shit without revealing the endgame. Assuming he ends this “shonen hero being an idiot” moment he’s currently involved in. (Though it may be more stubbornness than stupidity before he fell asleep).

It is Luffy looking at the big picture, which is something he does more often than it seems.

Look back at him and Vivi's fight back in Alabasta, Vivi was playing around trying to get to the Rebels to convince them that the Royal Family isn't that bad, Crocodile would have had a plan for that because we know he had agents in both sides stirring shit up. Luffy was looking at the biggest picture possible

"How do we solve this shit? We beat Crocodile's head in"

Why did he duel Lucci? Because he knew Lucci wouldn't have let them just escape.

Luffy might not have a high I.Q. but he knows the rules of the world he lives in. He might not know he is in a Shonen Anime..but he does know that all the detail bullshit does not matter to what he has to do which is beat the shit out of the Strongest guy that the opposing faction throws at him.
