I know Luffy asked Rayleigh not to spoil the One Piece, but he could've mentioned something about the immortal, regenerating God's Knights.

Its nice to see her finally have a fight where she can believably lose, just took a nigh immortal opponent to do it.Holy shit, what a fucking Nico Robin apology chapter. The true third member of the monster trio, people!
It does have weaknesses though. If her DF limps get hurt, so will her real ones. It is a huge risk. You can make her opponents she would struggle with. Its nice to see her finally have a fight where she can believably lose, just took a nigh immortal opponent to do it.
Which comes back again to just how OP her Devil Fruit is and always was much to her detriment as a character. Because Oda has really struggled to put her in fights due to how quickly she could win against most opponents, and in a Shonen fights are where characters are supposed to shine the most.
Just put her in fights with people that use anything sharp. If the antagonists are actively trying all her hands are skewered or slashed up within seconds. Its nice to see her finally have a fight where she can believably lose, just took a nigh immortal opponent to do it.

You can, but Oda has really dropped the ball in that regard and there really is no denying that.It does have weaknesses though. If her DF limps get hurt, so will her real ones. It is a huge risk. You can make her opponents she would struggle with.
This. I think Haki is the way to go with her. Give her the ability to damage strong people so that she is never useless. Will she be able to bring down someone like Kaidou? No, but she could take an elite fighter down. As the series progressed and fighters that could either tank her abilities or outright overpower her made an appearance, she should have been powerscaled. Her ability is OP only if you do not know how to deal with it. She is still just flesh and bone. She can be burned, frozen, electrocuted, injured, cursed or whatever. We saw that in Film Z.I am not saying it can't be done, but her ability is either pretty ridiculous or useless. She either ends most fights immediately or she can't win them at all which Oda doesn't really know how to work around.
I don’t think it was sudden. Oda does this a lot introduces a character by putting them against people vastly below them and then it takes an Arc or two till the go up against someone on their level and it turns out there was always a limit they just had not hit it yet.and suddenly his fruit has a "stamina limit
While the setup is right, the details are just nitpicking (Usopp asked about the treasure, but Luffy shut him down because he felt that knowing if there was a treasure at the end of the line would take the fun out of it for him.)I know Luffy asked Rayleigh not to spoil the One Piece, but he could've mentioned something about the immortal, regenerating God's Knights.

The fact it took Oda this long to do that says a lot.

I have to wonder how much of this is stalling before Luffy shows up. Because 1. As it stands the God’s Knights still have everything where they can declare victory because the order was given to burn everything down (another Ohara, yay!), while Gunko has taken down all the Straw Hats she’s faced and can just start dropping kids to their deaths and 2. Luffy is in that point of the arc where the question is “Suprisingly good judge of moral character, or complete idiot?” And again, gotta keep Luffy occupied so he doesn’t know about the bigger things he’s the key to because he’s at the center of all of it.Just put her in fights with people that use anything sharp. If the antagonists are actively trying all her hands are skewered or slashed up within seconds.

Oda is on record saying that he removes the heavy hitters, Luffy specifically, so everyone else can look like they do things.I have to wonder how much of this is stalling before Luffy shows up.
It's all handled very basic.I don’t think it was sudden. Oda does this a lot introduces a character by putting them against people vastly below them and then it takes an Arc or two till the go up against someone on their level and it turns out there was always a limit they just had not hit it yet.
Luffy had G4 from the timeskip and it took till Doffy for him to need to use it and for us to learn Limits.
My whole thing about it is that Oda made a whole thing about Luffy arguing with a bunch of people about Loki with his usual stubbornness to keep him occupied. Here’s hoping Oda hasn’t written himself into a corner like Masashi Kishimoto did. Multiple times.Oda is on record saying that he removes the heavy hitters, Luffy specifically, so everyone else can look like they do things.
But as per usual, God Knoghts as as numbered as Luffy’s full crew, if Oda was planning on them losing he would have brought them all in and not removed Luffy et al
Oda does not seem like the kind that does not allow for ways out nor does he put ideas that do not fit in the story. My whole thing about it is that Oda made a whole thing about Luffy arguing with a bunch of people about Loki with his usual stubbornness to keep him occupied. Well, I can’t think of another time before this where it seemed like the heroes were capital F fucked and the villains could just light up the victory cigars with how things are going.Oda does not seem like the kind that does not allow for ways out nor does he put ideas that do not fit in the story.
Disagree. Every villain ever looks OP at the start of the fight. Give it time.Well, I can’t think of another time before this where it seemed like the heroes were capital F fucked and the villains could just light up the victory cigars with how things are going.
I assume that her awakening will take the form of greater variety in the forms of her limps. Like her devil form but better.this just shows how badly any strawhat with a devil fruit that can be awakened needs it to be awakened as soon as possible. for robin for example i always thought her awakened power would just get rid of the negatives to her power or maybe just give her the power to control peoples limbs and manipulate them like she would her own. so for example she could make a guys hands stop working or make extra ones appear on their body which she controls but if hurt damage the other person instead of herself.
No, just very durable. Their Lunarian genes make them super durable while they are on fire and super fast when not on fire.that being said i also am starting to wonder. the seraphim were immortal too right? if so what if the seraphim are operating on something similar to the gods knights entirely on accident. like vegapunk just ended up inventing something similar and the gods knights are simply super powered up clones of past of present figures. who also happen to have devil fruit powers. usopp or somebody needs to hurry up and shoot one of them with a bubble gun to see what happens.
ok thats right i forgot about the lunarian part. either way i find it very interesting how we have seen multiple variations of groups of seemingly unstoppable enemies as far back as germa 66 if not even further depending on how you would classify fishmen and cipher pol agents. its like oda has been building up to the gods knights the whole time as the absolute ultimate challenge for anyone to face. No, just very durable. It is like artificial convergent evolution. Many scientists reached similar powersets. I assume that the WG monopolized the technology of the Ancient Kingdom and thus has the best form of those powers.ok thats right i forgot about the lunarian part. either way i find it very interesting how we have seen multiple variations of groups of seemingly unstoppable enemies as far back as germa 66 if not even further depending on how you would classify fishmen and cipher pol agents. its like oda has been building up to the gods knights the whole time as the absolute ultimate challenge for anyone to face.
