I'm not sure how One Piece can be considered a kids' show when they animate the brutal and unopposed colorectal violation of Eustass Kid by Shanks.
This is some Law & Order: SVU type shit.

Decent chapter.
Looks like we're having some new character foreshadowing on the last double page, bottom right below Dragon?

And of course break next week
Sure looks like it. Maybe it’s the man with a burn scar said to have the last Road Poneglyph. At the same time though, it’s a lot of work to give the impression that somebody other than Luffy will find the treasure.

You misspelt Buggy there.

Joking aside I think it's not so much showing who might find the treasure and showing figureheads for the various factions impacted by the pursuit of it. The pirates headline obviously with two Ds and two other prominent leaders on their side but we also have competing Marine factions, Imu, celestial dragons, different figures from the Rebel Army etc.

I know tons of people are going after it or will be affected by it, but ever since Whitebeard’s speech at Marineford, I REALLY think that everything is setting up for Luffy to be the guy who gets the treasure. Anyone else is either getting in his way or will be followers of the new pirate king Luffy.

Think we have confirmation Luffy will not become Pirate King until he kicks the ass of whoever steps first on Laugh Tale.

Thank you for bringing up the thing I have been saying since the Oden flashbacks Vegapunk, also re-reading last weeks chapter.

Clou D. Clover.

God damn it Oda.

Edit : I just had an interesting realization, Vegapunks words here are going to basically kickstart the final battle, Aniku is tardwrangling the Marines, The Cross Guild Members fervor over Buggy's announcement that he wants The One Piece is probably kicked into overdrive (One of those idiots is gonna start calling him BUGGY D CLOWN aren't they?) and now with the secret out Imu has to act..and once one person acts Shanks and Blackbeard aren't gonna stand by and let someone else claim things.

Vegapunk's inspiration is Einstein who ended a World War, Vegapunk effectively started one.

You’re surprised by that. He did that with Roger in chapter 1 and at Marineford.

Probably. At the same time, I think it could be where the last paths to Laugh Tale are where the final bosses are taken on, namely Luffy returning his hat to Shanks, Zoro beating Mihawk, and Blackbeard’s last stand where we get payoff over Whitebeard saying that Blackbeard isn’t the man Roger is waiting for, and giving a (not so) subtle hint that Luffy is.

Or it could be like an Indiana Jones film where Luffy has to deal with a final foe and that foe gets destroyed as a result of cosmic forces fucking them raw when they try to claim the treasure and whatever great power that comes with it.

Kind of surprised it is this close to be stated outright without it being a Roger flashback.

Oh yeah, we got that to add into the things we have to cover before the end don't we. We gotta have a proper Roger POV flashback.

Wasn’t that the whole point of those Wano chapters that culminated with “He laughed.”?

When Vegapunk shuts up, so probably early 2025.
I’m kind of surprised he’s gone on for this long, but I have to think that it might end when the SHs leave Egghead for good (assuming the Gorosei don’t end things again). We’ve already started to basically repeat the tone of what Whitebeard said at Marineford, mainly because Oda doesn’t want the audience to have everything click for them before Luffy comes across that click even for someone as dense as him, so the broadcast should be wrapping up sooner rather than later. I give it a few months max if I’m being conservative.

I think it is a really good primer..but..it's missing the God Valley Incident.
I gotta believe that God Valley details may be endgame reveals, considering that there are three people with D in their name, and that Celestial Dragons played a part. Also, reading about the incident, there’s a lot of stuff that echoed Alabasta, like how the WG covered up pirate involvement in stopping a villain.
