So on the bright side: Whitebeard beat Rayleigh, Kidd beat Rosinante, and Blackbeard beat Krieg. On the bullshit side: Fujitora beat Perona, Aokiji beat Zoro, Van Augur beat Mihawk, and Lucci beat Jinbe. At this point it's going to be a whole bracket of Marine admiralty and a spattering of pirates. Or Akainu vs Garp decides the whole tourney this round, either/or.

I mean that’s mostly because good guy Shanks turns up and says ‘no, you can’t kill the obvious most evil pirates that even I’m frightened of and will obviously svrew us over later and I’m going to let him go after he declines to fight’

I’m still amazed that happened.

And it being the same sentence someone uttered the last time they did an incredibly public execution to try to improve things.

Buggy's execution is going to make Beria's look like a wonderful example of a fair and open trial.

I thought it ended because Shamks challenged everyone to a fight after everything was dealt with.

Yeah and then the bad guys he was scared of said we don’t want to and he let them leave.

But then Shanks lost his arm to a fish and got bested by a guy who paints his sword…he’s not very smart.

He wanted to end the war, apparently to stop any more pointless killing. If he started a fight with blackbeard, both sides would return to killing each other, making his primary reason for coming pointless.

Or Oda kinda... Forgot about it.

What the fuck are you talking about? Shanks had nothing to do with Whitebeard declaring to the world on Live Transponder Snail that "The One Piece is Real"

Nah, Shanks said to both sides his crew would fight them personally. it was "if you want to continue this pointless fighting, bring it on! We will be your opponents.

Whitebeard and Roger’s message only became an issue because pirates that caused a threat were let loose upon the world.

Shanks let the man even he is terrified of go and stopped the Marines from killing him.

Yes, which was the entire point of why the Marines didn't just vanish Ace the moment he got caught. They wanted to make an example of Ace because he was Gol's kid and end the Age of Pirates.

Shanks had nothing to do with Whitebeard fucking that plan to hell by announcing to the world "Yeah, The One Piece is real"

Yes Shanks let Teach go, but what was he gonna do..Sucker Punch Teach then Declare the War over?

I dont think that would have really worked, I am not sure anyone is gonna care about you wanting to stop more bloodshed when you are laying in a pool of blood and cherry pie because you just gutted Teach like a fish.

Also if Shanks didn't stop to save him our boy Coby would be a fist shaped pile of ash.
