Even then, those movies were mostly animated and relied heavily on CGI. Rosa Salazar was CGI'd up.
And even then, the Wachowskis did great with Speed Racer as too with James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez in Alita. These respective filmmakers are more respectful to the two individual properties without making them boring nor manipulative.

Enough of this off-topic shit, have a retarded take.

For those who don't watch the Anime, this weeks episode should be the Finale of Kid and Law vs Big Mom, so anyone who wants to see Law Pull out the Quiet Room to beat Big Mom in one of the best "Final attacks" in the series, tomorrow would be the week to watch.

It's unironically the first time I'm feeling murderous rage towards "Luffy".

The real one I love tho, she's genuinely happy for this, probably either out of innocent naivety, or an extra paycheck.
I'd seen an article confirming the voice actors were going to do the Japanese voice acting as this video did too. Might make it more watchable.

Say what you will they're going hard on the PR work. The problem is they're using Netflix to do it. You can see in the "subs or dubs" line, there was an article from the second worst fake Luffy up there about "what Luffy taught me about being brave," the second worst fake Nami did one talking about how it's "for the fans by the fans" and so on. Which might 5 years ago have inspired some faith but at this point the lies are known all too well.

I finally watched the teaser and while it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it wasn't good either. The bit about finishing moves could be funny if Zoro actually does call his attacks and Luffy smiles because he was right. What really bugs me is that I cannot see a scar under Luffy's left eye. Where the fuck is the scar?

In Brulee's mirror realm with Usopp's nose, Sanji's eyebrow, and Nami's tits.

So I was doing a reread of some of that stuff ahead of the anime and just realised.
The One Piece Live action is lining up for end of August release date.
Is Oda setting things up so that the live action release is going to be at the same time as Warrior of Liberation airs in the anime? Is he using Netflix as the most expensive trailer even to exist?

Even if he isn't the fact that we will have such a stark comparison with Netflix One Piece being absolute shit while one of the best moments of the Anime happens while they air at the same time will be what one could call...

A Funny Story..a Laugh Tale if you will.
