Luffy being in this cage at this point in the series is just the dumbest gag I have ever seen in this manga but that said, it’s a excellent symbol of where the manga seems to be right now.

Stuck.

Wano may have ended in the gayest way possible but I don't see how the manga's in a rut. Right now we're in a transitional period between arcs, and Oda's getting on in years and impatient. Personally I think it might be too soon to tell.

Currently so conflicted whether to watch the RED Movie or not. I normally doesn't like to watch anime movies because they're not canon, but RED seems to be canon. But at the same time.....

I fucking hate Ado

RED is about as canon as Strong World: not, except for the villain who cameoed in the manga somewhere.

Maybe its just me, but if feels weird seeing a kid wearing glowing Apple-style headphones during an East Blue flashback. 1662230322688.png1662230640758.png

Much like Yamato as a whole, its hard to tell what the series is trying to do or convey atm.

Wow, what a week huh?
Spoilers for the new chapter. Buckle up, it's going to get worse
-The Strawhats actually agreed to have Yamato joined her, but they accepted her decision to stay in Wano
-Marco declined Shanks' offer to join him
-Both the Marines AND Blackbear tried to invade Amazon Lily on their own. The Marines want to capture Hancock, now worth 1.6 Billions. Meanwhile, Blackbeard, now worth 3.6 Billions, want to steal her DF
-The Marines unleashed a brand new type of Pacifista called "Seraphim". The catch? It's a childlike figure that resembles the Lunarian (King)
-Blackbeard know about the Lunarian and seems shocked by the Seraphims resemblance to them
-Hancock is strong enough to petrified a Vice Admiral, Catarina Davon, and Vasco Shot. Also explained that her DF is stronger than previously known. But she almost got captured by Blackbear, until...
-Rayleigh arrived to save the day. Along with her is Shakky/Shakuyaku (remember her?) who is revealed to be the former Captain of Kuja Pirates and former Empress of Amazon Lily 2 generations ago. Rayleigh managed to defuse the situation and sent both Marines and Blackbeard away from the island.
-Koby was also in the island, and Blackbeard knew him, taunting him as "Hero" Koby. He said that Koby's action at the Rocky Port Incident allowed Blackbear to become the boss of the Pirate Island.
-Rayleigh said that due to age, he's unable to defeat the current Blackbeard
-Rayleigh also said that the Marines wants to replace the Shichibukai with those Seraphims. How? Because there were two Seraphims on the island, one resembles child Mihawk with a similar sword and ability, while the other one resembles child Hancock. Remember when Oda drew Shichibukai as children on SBS? Yeah, he used those designs.
-Koby was kidnapped by Blackbeard

NO BREAK NEXT WEEK

Dude, this was nuts.

If 110%-heterosexual Sanji's dejected reaction to big-boobied Yamato not coming along with them isn't enough to convince fans that Yamato is 100% female despite calling herself Oden, then they're a complete lost cause and honestly, at this point, they don't deserve anything in terms of Yamato. They keep taking Ls and yet they continue to whimper "Yamato is TRANS!" because they have nothing more going for them.

But who cares about that, this chapter is going down a path I don't think we saw coming. Like this here:

The hell is going on with the World Government that there's Pacifistas that look like young King and Hancock? This is messed up, yo.

Yoooooo!

Things are ramping up, man!

>We might get a Fisher Tiger PX since he was also a slave
>Maybe even Kaido
>if they were smart they'd make an Army of Jack the Drought
>And the WG went from evil in the shadows to plain old cartoony evil
>Coby getting his cheeks clapped

I feel the WG going over the top now is because things have well and truly spiraled out of control. They maintained good enough control prior to Roger finding the One Piece but his dying declaration was the first crack. One that grew worse as the pirate situation evolved. They reached a balance with the Yonko and now that's fallen with Luffy taking out Kaido and Big Mom(from the Gov't view) and Buggy placing bounties on Marines(again the Gov't view). Add in the Revo thing, and they have to go hard to try to regain control.

That's Mihawk. Look at the eyes, sword, hair, the fact that he sliced a fucking mountain in half like it was Don Krieg's ship.

But yeah, Lunarian child clones (cyborgs?) with Kizaru's beams and their template's strength mean any opposition to the Navy is fucked, since King showed us that his race is just about nigh-invincible unless you can figure out the secret, and good luck lasting long enough to do that.

I wonder who else they made a copy of. We don't know anything about Mihawk other than he prefers the quiet life and used to be the "Naval Hunter". If he wasn't a slave, maybe they picked up his bloodline elements from a fight he had with the Navy? Stuff like this could also have been a secret reason why they wanted Ace and Whitebeard's bodies.

I'd say clones of the original warlords are safe bets. Jimbei, Doflamingo, Crocodile and Moira are the ones we haven't seen yet. It'll be interesting to see if they have any of the newer warlords, because Teech, Buggy and Law all have "the Will of D." Or having a Teech clone in general given his weirdness.
