Apparently it might be a reference on Oda's drawing of what Bad Future Franky ended up like. Bottom is the Bad End.
I don't know why Sanji's complaining. Zolo deflected a blow from Kaido and defeated King single handedly. Sanji got his ass kicked by Black Maria and then beat Queen only after getting a mysterious power-up.
Jinbe caught in the usual Sanji/Zorro crossfire by being number 3 was a nice touch., he's getting a bit more of an insight into the little quirks of the crew this chapter.
Sanji: Welcome to the club.
I don't have the energy to check but with Buggy
those two grunts who made the flyers for him that made him look like the boss, have they been the same who keep making Buggy seem bigger than he is from Impel Down to now? Because if so that carries the joke to not only being hilarious but a bit precious.
Mihawk being higher than Buggy yet not being an emperor and being under Buggy's "command" as viewed by the Marines seems odd, I almost expect that to be a print error corrected for the collection.

To be fair, a week passed off-panel. The mourning most likely happened then. Now that Wano is officially completely over it's real fucked up Kiku didn't mourn his brother at all. Oda thought it was more important to show him bathing with women and a little girl than to show sorrow.
I'm just taking the piss out of Oda having a strange priority in what to show on-screen. I think that gets to the heart of why the ending of Wano feels rushed. A lot is off paneled and on an emotional level makes it feel super shallow. I think after being on Wano for so long Oda decided to only show what was absolutely necessary and off-screen events if they didn't serve to advance the characters or the plot.To be fair, a week passed off-panel. The mourning most likely happened then.
It does. You read or listen to a lot of what people are saying and it's 'this would have been ok if we saw it or wasn't in a tiny panel off to the side'I think that gets to the heart of why the ending of Wano feels rushed.
