gunko being able to resist imus control because of brook is making me think there is more than one way to beat the gods knights and those controlled by imu in general. also i wonder what the full story behind gunko is because i dont think its as simple as brook says somebody obviously killed his master but was it really gunko? or was she being controlled by imu since she was a child?
I'm gonna guess it will be sorta like the Harald/Loki thing except it will be Gunko joing up with the GKs and falling under Imu's sway, only for when daddy tries to intervene Imu compels Gunko to kill him. I'm interested that we might find out what that certain country Brook was a swordsman for, as well as why he became a pirate in the first place.

that would make sense. i could see the gods knights starting out as the royal families sending their strongest warriors to fight in some form of united force almost like the navy but not only for imu to just start controlling them all. im also curious about brooks backstory in general now. i think he went out to sea long before roger did so he would have knowledge of the world a little bit after joy boy died and imu took control of everything if i am remembering everything right. which if true means brook being alive is very bad for imu.

Nah Brook is only like 80 years old give or take, Roger was a "Green eared newbie" during the Rumbar Pirate's peak.

They complain about sexualizing little girls. These are aimed at TEENAGERS! They are the same age as those girls! You might be a creepy weirdo in his 30s but they are not aimed at you! You just happen to read it! The high school girl character in a skirt is meant for the high school boy reader! Fuck's sake!
and it's mostly social media weirdos that can't understand that it doesn't matter if you point fingers you're calling the kettle black. We all should be weird for reading this but we can still enjoy it just not act like an asshole about it.

There's always a way around these things and it implies that Imu doesn't have constantly control them if Gunko was able ot briefly step out of line. There's probably a way to at least nullify Imu's control.

If they were screaming impotently at the aether, I would be fine to ignore them. These guys pressure politicians to pass laws though. They are not your neighborhood harmless retard that is harmless if a bit annoying. They actually hurt people's jobs and hobbies.

And you're the jackass if you call this out. How many times do we see these people throw allegations so severe and pressure companies to fire people with zero consequences then go silent when nothing happens and someone has their line of work ruined. All because of their pixel activism.

Well, that is why we make noise too. And vote with our wallets. I think using their weapons against them is the best strategy though. Remember, when they started getting canceled, they wanted free speech. They were saying "free speech does not mean freedom from consequences". Look at things now.

Netflix Chopper remains the stuff of nightmares and it is incredibly telling that the only fight scene they show more than 2 seconds of is Zoro at Whiskey Peak.
been one of my issues with the series since Zoro's fights and i would say Sanji when he does fight would be the only ones that are practical for a live action show. One Piece is just a series where even in the earlier arcs you have some really crazy stuff going on so trying to do that in live action and making it look believeable will just be very tricky.

My biggest gripe with Netflix One Piece is that everyone looks like they're cosplaying and the racial diversity of the cast drives that point further home.
Not only that but another one of my issues is just how drab everything looks. Early One Piece captures the sea faring world and the beauty of the islands with how colorful they can be but everything looks the same in the live action show just really dark and boring.

There Oda goes again: manufacturing an emotional peak in which to introduce rad new character elements.
