I understand where that idea came from. Dealing with them constantly would give me that attitude too, and I really dealt with them in university. Nothing like having one on the bus (that I never took again) screaming at the top of his lungs and threatening to hurt everyone, and nothing was done about it. The countless stories that I hear about how stores, restaurants, and fast food places locking their bathrooms because some vagrant gets in there, smearing shit and piss everywhere before overdosing left me with much less sympathy. I know it's not ideal, but I have developed thoughts if they're just going to die, why not let them at this point? They aren't grateful for help and often attack the people who save them in the first place.
Yeah I hate to say it but I think its a clever solution. Once he got back on his feet he worked a bunch of service jobs that put him in contact with homeless people all the time (liquor store) so I can see why he came up with it.

You don't hear about homeless assholes in smaller societies that still struggle with survival daily. I wonder why? We first hear of a bum in Ancient Greece, obviously society had reached a point where a person could choose to survive on the street and argue it was a philosophical choice.

Modern society is so fucking optimized that we have a nations worth of bums, produced so much food we gave away much of it to third world countries from 1960-modern day and likely contributed to places like India experiencing a surge in population (oh boy thanks for that you bleeding heart fools...) Bums are basically like any other invasion species at this point, no natural predators to thin their numbers.

It always amazes me the level of mental gymnastics retards in my home city will go to making excuses for the homeless.

I live in Portland, if you know anything about it it’s become a Mecca for all kinds of bums, druggies, shitbirds and lowlifes over the past decade or so. I like checking out the Portland subreddit at times as a laugh (people here really are the blue haired quirky glasses Tumblr tulpa manifest)

Recently a young woman made a post asking if it was safe for her to ride the Portland buses at night by herself due to them essentially all being mobile homeless shelters at this point. Quite a few people made the comments that “oh yeah it’s totally safe! Just always keep your head in a swivel, never listen to music, always carry pepper spray with you and be prepared to change busses or trains at a moments notice. When one person made the comment it doesn’t sound safe at all if people have to go all that, they got lambasted in the typical “ooh look at the scared little white suburbanite quaking in fear at what FAUX News tells him! It’s like this in every city bro! What a little chickenshit!”

Cities like Portland will never solve their homeless crime issues because far too many people here act like they’re angels who do nothing wrong, or have the retarded idea that they act like methed out savages because of late stage capitalism maaaaaannn!

I do the same thing for my location but sparingly because it makes my blood pressure go up. It's one thing to laugh at people's stupid takes on gender, it's another when people's stupid takes mean your property taxes go up.
I'm also tired of their willingness to expose themselves to bodily harm. They get on Nextdoor all the time saying "I haven't had that experience!!!" to run defence for the homeless shenanigans wrecking dining and retail. I grew up in a rough area so my head is on a swivel by nature. I moved to where I am now because I'm tired of that shit and worked my ass off to make sure I could get away. The nerve to act as though I'm the one who's fragile! Just you wait until you're a tired mom who wants to get her kids out of the house safely. The fucking solipsism of these people.

I saw a homeless dude today who had to be in the 450+ pound range.

How the shit is that even possible?

I used to volunteer on behalf of the homeless for a couple of years last decade. I started with high hopes and ended up disillusioned. Personally, I think most homeless people really should be involuntarily committed to mental hospitals. Most of them should be there permanently. Not just for the good society, but for their own good too. The more dangerous homeless should be in prison and never let out. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but most homeless people are nothing but mental patients, drug addicts, and dregs of society.

I read stuff like this and wonder why cuckservatives oppose Canada euthanizing homeless druggies who will never contribute anything to society and make things worse for everyone.

This is one of the very times where euthanasia should be encouraged for people who are clearly hopeless and will never be able to turn around their lives to become productive and be able to fit into society. But of course being "pro-life" is more important then improving the collective lives of people living in the civilized world.

Everybody complains about the price of food, but food is actually cheap. People spend 10% of their income on food and in most households most of that food rots.

Decades ago it was my right-wing-nut cousin complaining about the price of filet mignon as if he was entitled to eat that particular cut every day as a red blooded American. Now it's every bughive dork paying credit card surcharges for restaurant food and the delivery fees to get it. Cook some fucking beans on the stove, christ.
Every once in awhile some retarded thing happens that cause a run on eggs, for example but people just pointed at that and ran with the narrative that food is too expensive.

Someone was telling me over a week ago Scientology has been contributing to the homeless problem because they bleed pleb members dry and then kick them out of the church when they can no longer pay the dues, and many of them have family members (either still members or are non-members whom they were forbidden to interact with) who disowned them. Is there any truth to this?

Your vision of homelessness changes when you read statistics and realize like 80% of these people's misery is absolutely self inflicted.

Would that apply to the homeless people in China? They have much less access to the drugs that usually make people homeless, and their population isn't filled with Browns yet that are more likely to be homeless.

Environmental groups are awfully quiet when it comes to homeless people leaving garbage all over the place.

, I have to wonder how they feel about these younger kids that have gotten started doing it.

But yeah, hoboes aren't the people you find shaking the change cup on the same corner day after day. Hoboes only stay in one place long enough to earn enough money to leave. They like to keep on the move.
They call them woogles, I forget where the name comes from, but basically, they think they’re stupid because no one should want to hop trains unless they’re desperate enough and you don’t get to enjoy it until you’ve done your time learning the ropes (basically, trains are fucking dangerous, they’re not going to stop for you if you can’t breathe in a tunnel, don’t drink/get high until you’re on the train, and carry more water than anything else)

Because of this, the good natured ones have brought back old pastimes like the hobo Olympics and bitch hazing.

I remember someone chirping on Nextdoor that because it was hot, everyone should do like he does and add a stack of water bottles to your Costco run and give them out to the homeless. This was met with a bunch of bobbleheaded replies what a good idea it was. Maybe one old hippy questioning the amount of plastic waste. This was met with grandstanding about "literal lives".
During covid they stopped busting encampments because even though the homeless shelters were still open, they said they couldn't force "vulnerable " people into those conditions because of public health. There's one particularly beautiful nature drive along a river we are familiar with. The refuse from a gigantic forested encampment tumbled like a waterfall into the river. When it was finally dismantled a couple of years ago they had to bring in three big shipping containers and close one side of the road to park then during cleanup. Never saw it mentioned on local news, and it was a newsworthy sight that belongs in a textbook. My nature loving husband vacillated between tears and anger.

Fuck the turtles and their shitty paper straws. Even though I'm personally less skeptical of our changing global climate than most here, fuck climate change too. We abandoned true environmentalism in favor of human life, every human life, and it's been that way for awhile. This is the left's anti-abortion. Give it time, they're going to flip on abortion too (they go for anything with a dark racial disparity). They've only hung on to climate change because they needed to keep ringing that bell for the old lefties and it introduces so many ways to control social behaviors.

Water if widely accessible to the homeless in every western nation. They don't need water bottles, fuck off to that guy. Wouldn't surprise me if retarded jeets agreed, those freaks leave big bowls of milk and food outside for rats and then call these rats "brother" like they're mentally disabled. Its incredible that India hasn't suffered a major black plague recently, its the only place on earth the plague is still rampant... wonder why???

My local farmers market relocated because the area where they used to have it has human shit all over it and one of the bums got stabby when the police tried to roust him.

Trump should sign an executive order making it legal to hunt the homeless for sport.

As well as pajeets that cross the border illegally. They're sneaking in from Canada now and haven't stopped sneaking across into Texas. Time to let us hunt them fair and square.

Exactly. And you'll get an earful from a bleeding heart if you show any level of discomfort around homeless people. They always love to throw out some sort of "If the shoe was on the other foot" nonsense and I'm like, but it's not on the other foot because I purposefully made good decisions!
