There's so much news about North Korea right now and what Un is doing, I got a suggestion for a NK megathread, so here it is. Post the world's greatest nation's antics here. I'm merging a few of the more recent threads to continue discussion.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has pushed for a new plan for a rapid war with North Korea and an overhaul of the country's defense industry to overwhelm and crush the North's government, the South Korean newspaper The Chosun Ilbo reported Tuesday.

Moon took office in May promising to attempt to engage diplomatically with North Korea and seek peace, but in the months since, the North has provoked the international community with missile tests at a blistering pace.

For some time, South Korea has been training a "decapitation force," reportedly with the help of the US Navy's SEAL Team 6, but now an increasingly bold North Korea may demand quicker action.

South Korea's new plan identifies more than 1,000 targets for precision missile fires and sites for marines to drop in and quickly kill North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the paper reported.

The plan represents a more independent version of South Korea's current plan, which relies on support from US aircraft carriers. As it stands, no major military commander recommends military action against North Korea, which has a staggering array of conventional — and potentially nuclear — weapons pointed at Seoul, where 26 million call home.

But South Korea's new plan to quickly and decisively dominate the North relies on reforming the defense-acquisition process and cutting out wasteful spending to wield the full might of its economic dominance against Pyongyang, according to the report. For that reason, don't expect the plan to take effect anytime soon.

Yeah, yeah. This is, what, the third time you said the increasing sanctions were an act of war?

Do it, rocket faggot.
Everything is an act of war he knows he cannot fight. Best Korea never recovered from the famine in the 90s. The army has not the food, fuel, or ammunition to fight a war. They'd have rely on China extensively for logistical support. There is some merit to an insurgency as Eastern infantry doctrine relies on subterfuge/light infantry tactics where as the West has gone the route of technology and overwhelming firepower. The weaknesses of this have been shown from Vietnam to Iraq as not being able to adequately deal with a 4rth Generation War. The fact remains that the DPRK's military would get smashed. Would nukes fly? If he has them. Would an insurgency develop? It seems likely given the brainwashing that goes on. Defections of both military and civilians show that there are cracks. Even special forces soldiers have defected and they were they were some of the best treated people in the country short of high ranking military and government personnel.

The fact remains that Korea could not defeat the combined ROK and UN, everyone by the US sent a token amount, forces in the first Korean War. They were pushed back to Yalu and would have been a complete defeat had it not been for 2-300,000 Chinese troops that crossed the river. The Chinese are not backing Fatty. He shit in their cereal by purging their men, including his exiled brother. Fatty wasn't even supposed to be in charge. He's in a bad spot right now and needs those nukes for any kind of security that he won't be regime changed, be it by the US or the Chinese. The Chinese want a compliant vassal state that will keep NATO off its border and be a convenient distraction while they force their claims in the South China Sea.

Praise be to Anthrax-Chan! Finally we all die a horrible irradiated virus filled death we all dreamed of!

Yawn. Anthrax is neither hard to find, make, or treat. Conventional explosive warheads would do way more damage than an anthrax "bomb".

You can literally catch anthrax from petting sheep and it goes away with simple antibiotics who the fuck cares lol.

I thought anthrax kills on contact within the hour?

Not even close. Anthrax is a bacteria. It takes weeks. If you wanted something to load into a missile that would kill someone fast, use sarin.

Besides, the methods of making anthrax spores are well-known and simple. Any undergrad could do it.

this reminds me of that one time a fat british man posted on an irrelevant imageboard that they should mail my mom fake anthrax
