In all honesty why does a game like this need an ending?

Give him a copy of Doom.You do more in Minecraft than in No Man Sky and it's 40 bucks cheaper. Sadly,it should be the other way around. I'm trying to talk my youngest nephew into not buying it because he thinks it will be like Minecraft.

EDIT: Apparently it is simply a server bug. The user who initially mentioned this has got his discoveries back after re downloading the game.
