My apologies if someone’s already made this point, but I didn’t see this direct evidence brought up in previous posts.

Switch 2 game prices—at least, in the US—check out to me. If anything, Nintendo games (DLC not withstanding) are getting cheaper, with DKB lagging behind the perfectly adjusted ~$80. I’m not saying everyone just magically gets more money as inflation occurs, but for Nintendo… yeah, I get why the prices are going up. The USD has lost a significant percentage of its value.
>Nintendo drones are this fucking stupid
You deserve to get scammed

I’m not sure why the yen would have an impact on my perspective. I’m talking about US prices here. Maybe there’s something I’m missing?
Because these games are developed in Japan and the development staff (the primary capex on Nintendo's part) are paid... in yen? Are you being retarded on purpose?

There's nothing you could tell me to get me to "enable" this kind of shit. I'm not buying it, and I'm glad these people have no control over my shekel purse. If I just say No, what can you do to get my shekels? Nothing, short of getting the State to force it out of me via the barrel of a gun.

has the value of games increased?
are modern games better than the games from 20+ years ago?
nintendo doesn't think so, if they did they wouldn't make their retro games be $50 for your entire life.

why should anyone pay 80 bucks for one game, when you can pay half that for 5 better games during a sale?

After learning that Nintendo, by their own logic, are willing to get negative profit in Japan with the local price there for NS2, I almost snickered.

Never change, Japan. Pride comes before the fall.

I feel like the Switch 2 is going to be about as successful as the 3DS. So a decent system but at its best near the end of the systems life so you can enjoy all the positives without as many of the growing pains. My scientific evidence comes from both launching at kinda high prices that made the internet mad, and releasing with a version of the current Street Fighter. No other evidence needed, thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
