I look forward to the announcement in 2050 that they are no longer repairing the Nintendo Clocksomehow giving far more support to them than Google does for their "next big things"
Here's your Switch 2, faggots, lol

"I am incompetent and need constant help"And for the "lol just use your phone" crowd: its sometimes nice to have a dedicated device. I've not fully seated a charging cable - or not quite placed it on the charging pad - and woken up to my backup alarm and a dead phone. Also having the clock on the otherside of the room means I have to get up to turn it off; I've zombiebrained turn off my phone's alarm before having not woken all the way up and went right back to sleep.
course you can also just load a clock app on an old cellphone and be done with it.

That's because they got sued into doing that, and they never fixed the stick drift the entire generation. If this stupid clock is backed by Nintendo’s pretty amazing warranty (they have repaired way more incredibly damaged switch controllers than I want to admit)
Well thank you lawyerbros. None of my sticks have drifted but the damn controllers keep getting snapped in half somehowThat's because they got sued into doing that, and they never fixed the stick drift the entire generation.
I think that is because 1. trademarks and 2. the Japanese pronounce thing like that.So Nintendo is really continuing this trend of sticking "O" at the end of everything, huh?
This is as dumb as when Apple was sticking the lowercase "i" in the beginning of all their products.

They were going to release a butt plug named Pluggo but Nintendo realized they are already fucking us in the ass.So Nintendo is really continuing this trend of sticking "O" at the end of everything, huh?

Again Nintendo is just the Apple of gaming. Their products are overpriced as shit. I imagine if they actually tried to compete with Sony and Microsoft in hardware specs, their consoles would go over 999 bucks. So Nintendo is really continuing this trend of sticking "O" at the end of everything, huh?

Slight update on this, Nintendo is apparently recommending that you have a wired internet connection and that you use docked mode when taking part in the playtest.
Coin noises whenever you fart...They were going to release a butt plug named Pluggo but Nintendo realized they are already fucking us in the ass.
Come on, this this is garbage. I bought one to support Nintendo, but I doubt I'll ever use it.So before I give the minority report here:
I want to make it clear we all agree: $100 for what you can do with a $20 (if even that) jailbroken android/iphone is completely pants-on-head retarded. The motion tracking will be awful - it always is - the game noises as you move will get old after day 2. They didn't do a super great job picking titles with good "alarm" music. The sleep tracking isn't very useful with a pulse monitor.
All that said...
I kinda like parts of it. I thought the Zelda theme was pretty good; maybe the Ringfit one? Mario theme is garbage in every way but raw nostalgia. The dial interface reminds me of a good clock I had (sadly with horrible QC) that let you set different alarms for different days of the week and was really satisfying to use.
If this integrates with a smart home or acts as a hub and lets you turn on lights, etc it would actually have some utility that would go some of the way to justifying part of the price tag. I could also see the motion tracking being useful for stuff like "have the clock dim at night and if it detects you waving at it, brighten so you can see the time".
Sleep sounds are also potentially nice.
