I miss games where you play as an animal. I don't mean like Banjo, I mean those more experimental games like Savage where you're a lion or that goofy dog game on the PS2. They should make a game where you're a bee and do bee stuff. Call it...Beeworld. Bee Mania. Something like that.

Point is Stray was a walking simulator pretending to be a game where you play as a cat, give me an actual "be a cat surviving in the city" game. I'd play that.

We live in a golden age of bird and cat games.

They all suck, as is tradition. But we have them. That shark game from a couple years ago was neat.

What, this doesn't count?

There's Little Kitty, Big City which is closer to what I assumed Stray was going to be. Now, I loved Stray, good game, but I get what you're saying about wanting a purer experience of being an animal.

Ok I'm enjoying the Princess Peach game so far. Each of the level types have their own playstyle which keeps them interesting, and the levels are just the right length of time with clear ends that you can finish them in the time you allotted to play games without being sucked into playing more and more until it's 5am.

Any of you getting Endless Ocean? Very excited for that one.

Oh, I have played a decent amount of that Inazuma Eleven demo and while the online needs some tweaking, it is pretty good. The controls definitely take some work to learn but once you get it, the game is very exciting and rewarding. It is even fun to watch.

But it sure can be frustrating at times. Still in beta though, so there is time.

I wish we had gotten the Mister Mosquito sequel.

They've announced the newest N64 game for Nintendo Online subscribers. You can now play with Iggy's Reckin' Balldo with your friends. $60 yearly, what a worthwhile subscription.

I hope they keep adding more games no one’s heard of by literally-whos just to make people seethe.
I wouldn't say that they're from literally-whos in this case since they were published/made by Acclaim, which besides licensed games and games like those two (They also published Worms 3D for most platforms it was on before going under) is notable for the Turok games on N64

humorously, the Acclaim logos were replaced by that of Throwback Entertainment, a company best known for ports of older games and as what the only thing thier Wikipedia entry has, buying a bunch of rights to Acclaim's back catalog and having the rights to contemporary sports games like NBA Jam bought off for a cool million dollars

New Paper Mario trailer just dropped. Japan only, but an English version should be out soon.
I won't point out the new features that were shown off, but one thing stood out to me other than the music and visuals being so freaking good: the girl Boo in the Pianta Parlor uses her original US design, not the Playboy bunny-esque Japanese design. This implies that saucier design/character choices will prioritize the original US version over the Japanese version, meaning there may be hope for our girl Vivian after all.

I remember renting this one once or twice back in the day. It's one of those games Acclaim put out that was a cool idea, but they obviously rushed it out the door.

Just got Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Great gameif you like traditional JRPGs, maybe having so many different characters is a bit overkill, it's basically "gotta catch 'em all" with human characters, but some of them just function as NPCs and such so maybe it's not as much overkill as it seems. And they might want to patch up some of the bugs, I keep getting lag every time I exit the pause menu and had a crash last night. There's also apparently a bug that prevents you from recruiting a certain character if you do things in the wrong order.

I was saving the gift card my sister got me for my birthday for this one, and eventually found my cat batting the used-up card around my living room.
