Its been datamined that the developers are Good-Feel the same company who made Wario Land Shake-it, Yoshi's Woolly World And Crafted World. Which Speaking of Crafted World that game ran on Unreal Engine 4 which is more than likely what Peach Showtime uses too.
At least it will run well if nothing else, Good-Feel is giving HAL a run for it's money with quality control.

MAR10 Day announcement: TTYD releases 5/23, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD releases 6/27 and some Game Boy games (Dr. Mario, Mario Tennis and Golf) are coming to NSO in a couple of days.

This just leaves Pokémon Legends: Z-A and, uh, Metroid Prime 4 as the only upcoming Nintendo-published games without release dates.

Wasn't this shit announced like a year or two ago? WTF is taking so long for a port of a 3DS game?
Half a year ago.

A second Mario movie was also announced. And TTYD has “a suite of additional changes that make the game easier than ever to enjoy”, but no word on what those changes actually are.

Crafted world was pretty rough though, at least resolution wise.
Crafted World ran at an average 576p docked and 396p undocked. A smooth 60 FPS, but holy shit.
The peach demo also looks blurry. which checks out.

I hope that was just an off day for Kevin
Yeah......I hope this just the case of Kevin not quite getting down the voice for the normal catchphrases yet. He sounded fine in wonder when he was just doing the normal bing bing wahoo noises. But, when saying things like "It's a me" it just sounds off.

FBI, the tool used for installing games/apps to your 3DS, has been taken down. Not only that, but the creator’s entire GitHub has been shut down, including a GBC emulator for 3DS. It’s been feature complete for years and is very widespread, so I’m sure you can still find it easily.
The creator of FBI worked for Tropic Haze and shut down this repo because of the terms of the settlement.
One of the biggest questions I have with the aftermath of the absolute shitstorm that has been Nintendo's Yuzu lawsuit is just how incestuous the people who worked under Tropical Haze were within the Switch and 3DS hacking/emulating communities, especially since it seems like a lot of what they had been doing regardless of legality has heavy roots to the 3DS days when people were trying to make new exploits when a new console update rolled around like it was an arms race, mainly becuase there was also the people behind those Gateway flashcards trying to do it first.

They really couldn't have gotten a double take from Kevin, let alone take the pre existing Charles voiceline and called it a day? (The Mario vs Donkey Kong remake reused the Charles voice clips from what i've seen and was more recent.)

23-year-old Nintendo interview shows how little things have changed in gaming

In the interview, Yamauchi is asked about the financial downturn of the industry at the time, around the downfall of the Sega Dreamcast and a few months before the launch of the GameCube.

‘What I see right now is lots of people who look towards the game business with all these dreams in their minds about how bright the future of the industry is,’ Yamauchi said.

‘When you ask them why, they all say, ‘Oh, all these new systems are coming out that’re even more powerful than the PlayStation 2, we’ll be able to create things that’ll attract even more people to play games,’ and so on.

‘I’ve been consistently saying this is wrong, but most of them look at what I say and respond, ‘No, no, you’re wrong,’ and as a result, this is what’s happening today. There really are just an overwhelmingly huge number of people out there that know nothing about the business of games.

‘The game business is a tough one, and it’s not been around for that long, either, so there are people out there that find this industry incredibly interesting. Venture capitalists, in particular. That’s why these people are pouring money into the field right now.’

Yamauchi goes onto explain how rising development costs stem from the chase for ‘amazing graphics and sound’, which has led to an increasingly volatile industry.

Recently bought KI Gold to play for my channel. Tried playing it on a TV from 2019 48in LG using the AVs. Before the match started the screen would go black then start up again 3 seconds into the match. Swapped TVs to 19in Samsung from 2009. With AVs got no color and still that back screen. So swapped to a third TV Samsung 32in 2007 flat screen... works perfect.

EDF World Brothers 2 and Paper Mario coming out on the same day is gonna be a bit rough for me.

Is there any change in resolution when going into a match? Some modern TVs take a moment to catch up if the video output changes, and though I haven’t seen it for N64, I know some PS1 games use different resolutions in different situations.
